    Finally got my hand on a nice healthy maldive regal angel. Medium sized. Training pellets feeding. Had been rather sucessful with brine feeding, and some pellets. Fed lectuces today and Been Nipping on it.

    Dosing KH and maintaing at 7.4 CA shot up above detacable range from standard 1ml drip salfiet test kit... need 1.3ml to change color.

    Also, the sg level from lfs are different fron our tank. Some could be slightly below i.e 1.019 I will slowly adjust till the level is the same.

    Recommended inflow rate for artica 1/4 is 8-32 gallen per min.

    True. If over kill in the flow rate will be meaningless. Previously running eheim 1250 Took almost 3hrs chill. Today, tested with 1262, took only 2hrs!

    How old is your tank? what kind of algae had infested? As what planted had mentioned, check the parameters also, then check if you have the necessary internal cleaner crews, external equipment to resolve your problem.
