    7. Light dimmer $12(cause i broght high amp) can buy lower one n cheaper

    8. Power inverter 220vac to 24vdc $22 (cause of i buy higher amp) can buy lower one n cheaper

    Step 1

Insert magnet and cut out chopstick into the wire shrink warp(remember to follow the length of the fan center portion as gilded for magnet to sit nicely)

    Step 2

  2. wow after so long been away from reefing and was surprise that this algae scrubber tread still alive and kicking well.

Think it time for me to make a come back now.

ATS is always the best way to control parameter in it natural way compare to those bio add on.

Tks santaMonica back then with good introduction of such good tips, i'll move to this direction again for my on coming set-up soon

  3. bro just a pointer: During you cycle period you should not run any reactor to fasten the process.

As it need to have the rises of ammonia the change to NO3 in it final stages there after it done with a 30 to 40% water changes to drop back the NO3...

but nvr the less seen it already on the run let it be all the parameter seem ok except your SG in kind of high, try lower it to 1.020-1.022 on the first intro of LS.

there after increase it slowly to idea 1.025 when you almost done with the LS... try some hardy LS

  4. with ur initial start off with such heavy LS you really have to be very dedicated bro, as you've lots of filter feeding LS.

And the fishes they're more to pods and micro eater so kind of hard to keep them alive unless they've already gone though pellet training.

    you need planktons for sure.......

May all the best with you.... keep us update and it also good to kept posting and get advice from all the pro here

  5. I may have stop reefing (will be back soon) for awhile but nvr fail to read up and learn more and a hello to all reefer here

Seen you've already added in LS i will advise you to do WC every wk and the amount will be 10-20% of it at least to maintain a low No2 & Ammonia.

Do also try to lower your sg to 1.017-1.019 this will also help to prevent the LS from disease esp (WS)

If you can pls get rip of the Hammer or any coral first during this period, Cause anything go wrong LPS or softies will cause your water to foul easily.

    Happy reefing

  6. It'll be fine if even don't do water change for more than a yr.

But thing u need to take care is

    1. Check your SG every 1mth (most likely it'll go high by 0.002 after awhile so dilute it by distill water)

    2. And plan your Ozone dosing depend of your tank size (This will minimize disease and clear your water clarity and Mg condition)

    3. Use a over size skimmer at least 1.5 times and above (with use of Ozone even better)

    4. And you also need a sufficient light to culture the Life rock as well(This will make the Eco system cycle better)

    5. Have a good flow of water for all dead spot (To prevent of detritus built up and decompose of living stuff in the tank)

    6. Do keep your tank cool (Not more than 31 degree C)
