nah, as i dun keep sps, i only keep lps, so T5 is sufficient. Mh is too ex for me now, and high voltage consuming:) maybe when i found a job first:)

hi, i am currently using 4 tube T5 hopar lights, 2 tube of white and 2 blue, was thinking of changing the tubes as it is not as bring anymore any suggestion of what kind of tube shld i use to have a brighter effect, and what is the kind if blue light that will have the atlantic or shimmering glowing effect? and which kind of white light is brighter thanks

think u get it wrong.. the shark is not those shark .. haha, they wont eat the chromis, and also the stone fish is not the stone fish that u are thinking of , which is like those frog fish that eat fishes.. the stone fish is just actually look like those algae eater, they only eat pellets and frozen food

almost complete tank, althoungh i know it might be overloaded.. but still lack of a pair of true perc and pair of blue tang. livestock 7 chromis 6 fire goby 1 yellow tang 1 purple tang 1 brown tang 1 dunno the name tang 1 flame hawk 2 long nose hawk 3 black clown 1 six line wrasse 1 stone or leave fish 1 yellow damsel 1 boxer shrimp 3 cleaner shrimp 1 fire shrimp 1 mandarin fish 3 yellow stripe damsel or chromis 1 shark egg many small crabs ard 4 different sand gobys, dunno the names sorry for the poor photos, all taken using hp camera.. happy reefing everyone if anyone has a pair a true perc to let go do let me know:) thanks

hi, i have a problem, i just bought 2 star polyps from ah beng, it has been 2 days but they just dun open, does anyone know what is the cause, other corals are perfectly fine, i previous yellow polyp are ok.. what is the reason? it open fine when it is at the shop. hope anyone here can tell me what to do.. thanks

anyway any fellow reefers here can give me some advice. is it ok for me to actually add a carpet anemone in? will carpet anemone die easily and will it give off toxic like normal anemone do and harm the rest of the tank? thanks

thanks bro, have not been adding any fishes other than the tang that is in the pic other than the yellow tank.. now mainly corals and yeah the other time was too ambitious, added too many fish too soon.. now will slowly add fishes 1 by 1.. hope can achieve tanks that i saw from some fellow reefers.. with all the nice colours and scape:) cheers and happy reefing everyone

this is my 422 simple tank, saw alot of fellow reefers tank, so envy, they have nice scaping and colorations. i am only using a resun cl 650 chiller, 4 tubes T5 , 2 white, 2 blue, becket skimmer, here are some pics my first elegance moon coral orange plate blasto coco worm super sun red prata from iwarna my yellow elegance with blue tip my torch garden star shape toadstool pink elegance my tree coral and mushrooms green bubble green jewel brain
