For seagrape, when the colour change to dark green or some part turn to white... I think is a right time to trim. <_< -

Bro, thanks for your info..... Before your post, I have contact "Macro algae king" Bro BOB. He tell me just same like you info..... Marco algae going asexual.... Now I ready clear all the seagrape and just keep the chaeto + Mangrove. Thanks again Bro Gouldian. :thanks: -
Hi Bro/Sis I'm new in marine hobby, I have keep one 3'x3' refugium tank arround 3 months ago for my marine hobby start. In this tank I had kept two type of macro algae: chaetos and seagrape to remove the nitrate and phosphate. In this 3 months all the macro algae are growing fast under the sun. This night when I off the wave maker and on the T5 light to feed the coral, after 10 mins I saw the water has turn cloudy green. Then I realize there are some cloudy substance coming out from the seagrape torn like figures. May I know who had faced to this problem before??? Just a few mins, the green seagrape had change to white grape.... This problem is due to the weather changers or other reason? Will it effect the water quality, and most of all will it harm living creatures? I hope I will get some information from guru here. Thanks Tham PS: Sorry for my poor english :paiseh:
