Try to point ur wavemaker slightly toward surface water.I did that to my tank to hv more wave around the tank and surface.
yup, also good, for oxygen exchange with water surface movement.

I happened to have only 1 x Super sun head. Small one, kinda approx 4mm in Diamter.
What;s left only the rock with orange base....nothing else...
I m suspecting, culprit = Green wrasse or Copperband
hmm ... orange base ? not a closed head ? i had one baby super die before (about 3-4mm head), and i still see the skeleton after the orange skin melted.
had the same problem before, that's why i let go of my flagfin angel, because it was nipping my supers.

Terry, have u ever experience missing super sun head? I had a missing one since 2 days ago. I suspect, eaten by something.
can't go missing if eaten .... even if totally eaten that fast (?), then the skeleton should still be there. unless it's a single head you have, maybe fell off and went under or in between some of your rocks.

hehe yup, for sure. your case should be just like turkey blasting. btw, have you tried squirting some at closed heads (or 'some' tentacles are a little exposed) during lights on ? i noted after some time of doing this, they eventually also open up during lights on.

I added it in December courtsey of a fellow office reefer.
it was a small branching frag but now become a very very big mao mao colony. Got a small bicolor birdsnest from a fellow reefer Ahlee which has also grown but not as big as the pink one.
It's already 3.40pm but where is the rain!! AARRGGHH!
then means you have a green thumb .. i mean pink thumb ... SPS thumb .... so can start more ... cedric's sticks ... go go go

terryz, I used to use the 1.5L coke bottle to cover my old super suns and then squirt in the mysis..
But at the time I only had like 2 colonies of super suns.. but you have LOTS... so ... good luck there!i'm too concerned about messing up the water
, so i am painstakingly feeding one head at a time, small and big heads ... all 40+ of them 
but so far the fruits of it have been great 
... i guess you got more heads there terry ... so good luck as well -

yeah, nice suns, and the color of the foreground is really yellow ... i guess the big difference is really how they bloom, it's like suns bloom, but super suns BLOOM, sometimes almost looking like rhizos

what do u mean by water parameter?cos my let the water cycle for two day,than i add a pair of clown fish,which survial for a week,than again i added a few fish which included a yellow angle,a spotted mandarin,a brown surgeon fish, a three strip damsel,two turbo snail(1 is dead),two tube wormall was fine except after a few day one of the tude worm lost all the hair,i thought it would grow back,but afew day later the worm came out of the tube n fall of the base of the tank, so i presume it is death n i clear it,now after less than a week my another tubeworm is starting to loss is hair,is my fish hurting it?

... pls don't attempt to add any additional stocks, or replace those who died. the LS you've added in just a week is equivalent to LS added by other reefers here only after a few months. first things first, pls pls check what are your water parameters (i hope you do have test kits) ... although we may know what to expect. from there, reefers here can guide you what to do next. cheers ! -

Hi All,
Have 1 GBTA and 1 bubble coral ups ... both have been with me for more than a year. Just became too big for my tank already.
GBTA expands to about adult palm size, while bubble has 2 heads, one is about 2", while the other is more than adult fist size.
GBTA for $15, Bubble for $15 as well. $25 for both.
gbta already just isolated, if possible need fast collection so not to stress it.
