Hi, I have about a year old 4ft 6 tubes Retrofit to be sold off.
Judging from the interest I am able to gather from the forum, I might be selling this light.
May be able to bundle it up with new ATI tubes (will update later on in the week).

any photo?Beckett skimmers are well-known for their high turnover rate and supreme capacity to strip out pollutants from the water rapidly. The only drawback of such skimmers is their high power consumption compared to other skimmers as they usually require a pressure-rated pump to function properly. The unit I am selling can function optimally with a feed pump that only consumes 50W of electricity.Selling a 30" tall Reef Maniacs beckett skimmer. Footprint for in-sump use is 28cmx18cm. Pipings for external usage is not included.
Feed pump is a Rio Hyperflow HF20 rated at only 50W.
Comes with a waste collector with auto shut-off.
Selling everything for only $120.
I will test the pump for interested parties on site. If the pump is not working (has been out of water for about a week), the price will be at $80.
This skimmer has worked excellent for me. I am only selling it as I need to cut down as much power consumption as possible. The wattage I offset from the feed pump will be used to power my UV sterilizers.

first of all u need to be sure the
1. consume food
2. have a tank min 3ft and above
3. not to mix with too many agressive fish
4. having strong current flow (wavemaker) if can place it at the bottom so it can play and stay happy
5. it need some rock works for it to in and out to play
6. try to stick with one type of food once mature
7. do not QT this fish in a small confine area for too long
all that u state i hav,my aquarium is2.5x3x6 feets
but still this type of fish never stay at this big aquarium more than a month

I own it severe times but in the end die.

try to test ur water KH(at least 8dkh) and PH (at least 8.2-8.4max) this is impotant as not in the spect it act stress to the fish and ick will have a outbreak from there

ya that's the reason there is no DOC nor polluted so there will be no skimmate try add coral food and u'll see back the result again

Can anyone tell me why my beckett skimmer stop foaming skimmate?
actually 2 month ago all my fish die because of white spot when i add 2 new fish in my 2.5x3x6 feets tank.
After 2 week ago my beckett skimmer suddenly stop foarming skimmate in the collection cup.
Is that because of no fish at the tank now that is why no skimmate?
I dont hav coral in my tank.My tank is empty now.

No! not wise to increase the temperature of your tank, your fishes will all die!
There are many options in removing ich posted on this forum. You might wanna do a search on it.
- Medication
- Hypo treatment
- Food soaked in garlic

Need some advice
i just add another 2 new member in my 6'x2.5'x3' tank,
they are emperor and blue face.After the third days ,i found of that these angle got alot of white spot o the whole body.
Can i increse the temp to about 34 degree?
Now is about 30 to 31 degree.
Can it kill the white spot by increse the temp?

No leakage on the skimmer.
According to website stated MD 40 which is about 3300l/h. Rio 20 is about 5400l/h should be enough to power the skimmer.
I'm using this pump to power the skimmer with good skimmate. Moreover rio20 has lower wattage than rio26 can save on electric bill.

Hi all ,
have got one 3 feet Solite MH lighting that has got a problem with the MH. Bought a brand new MH Bulb(150watt 20k) to replace but still not working . My guess is the ballast is spoilt . It comes with a seperate control 2 tube T5 Blue lighting also (working). Anybody interested to take over and give it a try , maybe juz need to replace the Ballast . Only if u can get it to work , juz cover me back on the brand new MH bulb which i bought it at $60 .

I've used ozone for more that a yr 24x7.. no issues so far.. thing you gotta note is,
Not pump too much.. usually a standard skimmer input about 50mg. so control it to maybe about a little less to be on the safe side..
On your skimmer water output, its good to have carbon to absorb excess O3..
If you are using normal air tubes, check them regularly for leaks. O3 'burns' rubber.. better still, change them regularly.. For me I'm using tubes meant for ozone.. they are way thicker.. norprene material I believe..
