My apologies I looked through their website again and they seem to have removed the notice regarding the connection to a controller. Perhaps the new batch can be connected. Why not call them to enquire.

East ocean aquatic already mentioned in their website that the light cannot be linked to any controller.

I think the picture quality affected your judgement. On closer look its crystal glass to me. For normal glass the green edge will be much darker.

And how about one that has morphed and attained a different coloration? So an already named coral may in some instance be given an additional title "Ultra" or a totally new fanciful name. The possibilities are endless. So in my opinion the way forward is for all whether experienced or new to take it upon themselves to educate themselves about the coral they are buying and not be swayed by any fanciful name.

Are you usin filter media in the sump? It may be a good idea to put th media in a bag and place it in the tank as well when you are still doing the plumbing for the sump. ayou will have to turn on the power heads for circulation since your return pump is not on yet. No need to turn chiller on yet.

Not sure what your ID meant. The refrigerant in the pipeing is pressurised and when operating the compressor acts like a pump moving the refrigerant along in the pipe so it does not rely on gravity. So it should be ok to run the pipe up to the ceiling and take the shortest route along the ceiling to your coil/tank position (assuming you have a false ceiling). Otherwise take the shortest route along the wall (at ceiling level). The shorter the pipe the more efficient the installation. Hope this clarifies.

Problem is the bacteria die off can be quite fast during the transportation process unless you can devise a way of circulating (aerating the media) in the canister.
