wha bro.. i suggest you do a leak and "strength" test first before starting.. just in case you've weaken the tank structure..
should be ok ba... Drilling at the corner of the base glass of tank wun affect much.
If u notice those tank on stand wan the only got the support from the frame of the stand with and 1 metal strip across the center. Meaning the rest of the base is not supported.
This kind type of iron stand structure also can support already and if talking about cabinet isn't it more secure?

anything that can fits into the lionfish mouth will eventually become it's food so take note of the fishes u gonna comm together with it.
Anyway i've seen a trained lionfish that takes market prawn.

u will required to do it slow and steady.
70% old water,sand then rocks. After that top up the rest with new seawater or salt mix.
transfer corals etc...
use container to transfer the fishes. (make sure container big enough for your fishes to swim in it then u use) and do it slowly to minimise stressing the fishes.

To prevent everything, change water regularly is the best way...
Our underwater world hear say they change their water everyday so what's ours?
Unless yours is a million dollar system set up...

Not true...
For your case should be enough liao hence not to worry...
Anyway u gonna have some LR before putting corals right? This will rise the distance of your corals nearer to the lighting already and some corals dun need strong light so u can always put them nearer to the base.
Moral of the story, think before u purchase so u can at least know how u gonna scape your corals.

For me i'll drill.
Drill and fix PVC piping will do. Will forgo the overflow compartment as it takes up some space esp when u r having such small tank.
Drill for the beginning and enjoy a lot of conveniency in the future.

Can your timer be use on MH to on 2 different light in different time of the day?
E.g on blue light during day then evening time then on normal light?
Btw my lightset got 3 switches. 1 switch for blue light and the other 2 swtiches for MH

before adding a 10cm fan, nano tank temp was ard 29++ C
after adding the fan manage to maintain ard 27.8 - 28C
need to lower another degree
how u position the fan matter alot on how much the temperature gonna drop u know?

If u r not keep coral, u can make do without a chiller...
If u need the water to be cooler, a fan will do.
In fact, FOWLR tank is good without a chiller in terms of white spot will not come visit your fishes!

Sad to hear this. Must be freaking scary...
Meanwhile your tank can use air stone to generate oxygen. Make sure here's enough water movement in tank for circulation. Skimmer wise dun have to worry. A week or 2 without it shouldn't affect much on those fishes. Act fast and get your sump done.
