    Hi bro,

you can try at Iwarna. They sell aquarium lights with these holders.

I bought lights from them before and I remember they sell the lamps with these holders.

  2. Hi bro binosage, u mean open brain coral cannot be place near or areas with high water flow? Is it okay to epoxy them on rocks? I'm thinking of getting one after my tank is done with the cycling process so got to learn more first. :ThanxSmiley:

Hi OooFishFish bro, my open brain is currently epoxy-ed on a rock with directly lighting.

As for water flow, my wavemaker is not directly blowing at the open brain.

  3. Hi bro, open brain, or trachyphyllia, is relatively easy to keep and not very light demanding. They can be put on the sand bed or even partially shaded areas with low to moderate flow. The one time I had an open brain die, it was exposed to direct blasting from the wavemaker on top of my cleaner shrimps digging it open for digested food :poster_oops:

In addition to good water parameters, feed it fleshy food like bits of market prawn or mysis once a week (usually rows of feeding tentacles will extend near night time), and it will be enough to keep it happy.

I tried feeding my open brain for the first time last night and it looked very satisfied after eating.

    +1

  4. I still have some to frag out if you're still interested, but I would prefer to wait for it to stabilize before putting up for trade. Do you have other zoas then the ones you posted?

Yeah I have a couple more like sunflower and some other zoas that are all in yellow (dunno the name).... But I only have these in less than 10 polyps. Need to let them grow for a while more before I can release them.

  5. No worries. It still looks a bit stressed, but slowly opening up. I'll transfer it back to my office tank tmr and see how it goes. Nice meeting you, bro!

Hi bro, you still have anymore to trade?

I see!! Haha. Thanks so much, Terryz bro!

The top pic is the mother colony. The actual frag is the bottom one. Has abt 10+ polyps.

Peacemaker bro - would you be keen?

Pai seh for the late post.
