  1. If I attach a fan at 45degree on my 2by 1.5 tank. How many percent of water do I need to replace back within 3 day?

hi no hard and fast rule as rate of evaporation depends on humildity of your area too... not just on the fan... normally what we do is mark the water level once we mix the salt to get the desired salinity... then we top up water regularly to the mark so as to maintain the salinity... salt dun evaporate... only water do... so once the water evaporate the remaining water becomes saltier and saltier... until we top up... to maintain a stable salinity we need to do regular top up to the mark

  2. nah dun recommand u try hard coral... they require proper knowledge on water chemistry like how to maintain Ca level KH level and Mg level etc... for a start just do softies... they are less demanding... no sure fire way of measuring how much rocks u need... just buy enough for you to scape your tank... but dun buy too many... coz your corals might come attached to pieces of rock... we prefer the space up there on the tank so that the light can be positioned properly so that the whole tank get the light... OHF takes up too much space... another reason is OHF does not increase the water vol of the tank... in marine the bigger the vol the more stable the tank will be..... they could be more reasons...

  3. hi i believe for seahorses lighting is not a major concern unless u are planning on keeping corals in the tank. Whats more impt is the equipments that would help to maintain your water parameters... thus a good skimmer is impt and if possible u shld have a slump to increase the water vol and for filtration...

  4. its hard for the body to expel the cyanide once it binds with the enzyme in the mitochondria.... unless it is a minimal dosage... which i doubt so... the fish will eventually die due to lack of the ability to use oxygen... as the organ most likely to be affected first is the brain or the heart as they need the most oxygen, chances of survival is low.

In humans the only way to save ppl is to use IV lines and pump chemicals into the blood... we can't do this in fishes as the blood vessels are so thin... so i can conclude that there is practically no way we can save the fishes using the technology at present.

  5. copepods are good food for fishes... wahaha u can start a seahorse or pipefish tank liao.... they need such food... as they are rather fussy feeders... pods production in the refugium is good... when ur main tank kicks in the pods will provide snacks for ur fishes in the main tank

  6. its not that easy... the camera is attached to the board in the phone i tink and by taking it out... i think u wld affect the functioning and ciruit of the boards in the phone... dun do it unless u know how the circuit flows in the com... am not a electronics engineering major but am in the engine field hahaha
