  5. Actually i like small fishes too, bigger fish are only nice is its a big tank and you see them swimming happily to and fro the length of the tank.... den again, when i see a friend of mine who has a 5th tank and a sohal tang almost 8-10" long swimming inside, the tank still looks kindda small for the sohal.... Vincent Ho
  6. Dat's an interesting method, wat if when they are separated and the smaller one keep irritating the larger one tinking that it is in the safety of the partition? den finally when the partition is lifted.... the final countdown ( tune ringing.... ) Vincent Ho
  7. 19percula, Hmm.... dat's wat i thought, but do they keep pecking at the rocks when it's new to the tank? somehow from the way it swims around, it seems very "homely", and its eyes keep scrutinising the rocks... I'm stumped..... Vincent Ho
  8. hi all, I bought an Emperor ( juvenile ) Fish today and when i tried feeding the fishes, with frozen Brine Shrimp ( which i allowed to defrost ), it refuses to eat, instead, the fella prefer to keep pecking and nipping at the rocks which i believe its a sign dat it's hungry.... why is this so? Anyone got any experience to share? Vincent Ho

  18. Hi all, Have a Tom Dive powerhead for sale, output 400gallons/hr ( approx 1600L/hr ).... Very good quality - Made in Japan. Can be used to drive a Weipro Skimmer 2012 (dat's wat i use to do), or as a wave maker in a 2/3 feet tank... Compact Size, probably the smallest powerhead to produce 1600L/hr. Used for a couple of months, willing to let go at $25. Vincent Ho 96875522
  19. Hi, morbid81, I would personally avoid anemones, they sting other corals, den some of them keep moving around, end up i keep rescaping the tank again and again to keep other corals out of its way.... den some of the anmones insist on blocking the current when it deicides to stand rite in front of the flow of the current... den when they die or start spewing thir intestines, it might cause ur tank to crash, when one of my anemones died, the water was cloudy for 2 days and some of my corals died too... i have a small bubble still surviving from the disaster, but till now refuse to open up fully... Almost, avoid those fat humpy starfishes, so-called chocolate-chips, they are NOT REEF-SAFE.... Happy Reefing! Vincent Ho
  20. you mean the sponge whereby the water flows out from the skimmer? i check liao leh.... its okay.... it a very new sponge, coz i been using it for 1+ month only... Vincent Ho
  21. Hi all, I've been using a weipro skimmer for about 1+ month withouht any problem... suddenly the last two days, the water level rised up pretty high, even with the valve controlling the water flowing back fully open, the water level rises up till 3/4 of the funnel inside the collection cup, den in the middle of the nite, it starts overflowing and the water drips out.... anyone got experience? could something be choked inside the weipro skimmer? if yes, how to remove? Pls help!! Vincent Ho
