  3. Hi, I tink normally the wool 1st as it would help to capture the larger debris, as in if i can catch the fish's stool, den no need to let the system break it down in the 1st place rite?? Vincent Ho
  4. Hehehe... haven't caught the domino demsel out yet..... caught the blue fish though.... and boy! it was tough.... Vincent Ho
  5. Dinosaur, would she come out to somewhere where's there's more light? i tot anemones would prefer a place with light and water current, she dun seem to be getting any now... if she hides there forever, finish liao.... i dun think it would survive and i cant see it too... in fact, i dun even know where it is exactly, although i know it's behind some of those rocks... Vincent Ho

  7. Hi, dat's exactly the skimmer i have... will it be better if i control the flow of the bubbles gushing through the chamber? coz i notice that normally the bubbles in a skimmer dat is working well produces dry bubbles, but my bubbles are like extremely wet... the container on top fills up very quickly sometimes... Vincent Ho
  8. Hi all, i bought a new pink anemone... very nice in colour, some mild pink but the fella is hiding behind some rocks which i believe it can get any of the light... I'm afraid it might die due to the lack of light... Anyway to lure the guy out???? or just wait and wait until it wanna come out by itself? in order to get it out, i need to shift the rocks and thus it would affect the other corals i have, even if i shift the rocks, the fella might be clinging onto the rock and refuse to let go... Anyone can advise??? Vincent Ho
  9. bwilly, Xenia.... is it hard to keep? as in does it need very good water parameters? does anyone have them? will other fishes attack it as a moves and looks like food? Vincent Ho
  10. Anyone can help????? Vincent Ho
  11. Hi, i saw some coral similar to the one in the pic... but it's brownish in colour and the star kindda opens and closes... like the way you open your palm and den close your fingers, den open and close again every few seconds... very intriguing... just wanna know wat it is... Vincent Ho
  12. I think most of the LFS have it if they do sell a little accessories, so u dun have to run all over the place looking for it, just go to one nearby... Vincent Ho
  13. Hi there, wat kind of stain is dat? brownish? it could be just algae... check your water parameters, if the no3 and po4 is high, dat's probably just algae, you can get snails, crabs, shrimp to clean it up... but it'll take time... Vincent Ho
  14. Hi all, I have a 2 feet tank and I'm using a mini in-tank skimmer made in germany, but i always get only brown water, unlike the kopi-o dat the skimmer is suppose to produce... izit because the air flowing through the tube is too strong? Is the air supposed to be flowing slowly through the water chamber? Currently the air seems to be gushing upwards through the chamber so i dunno if it's right... Can someone pls advise? Vincent Ho
  15. Hi bro, understand how you feel, the 1st time my anemone crab moulted, i tot the fella died! coz its shell was juz lying there... kekeke.... I tot it was attacked by my puffer, den i saw the fella a few days leter den i realise... hahahaha... Vincent Ho
  16. Can someone advice if the bubbles in the skimmer should be rushing up or just slowly flowing up? I have a mini in-tank skimmer made in germany but it produces only like brownish water, nothing like the kopi-o i understand i should have, izit becoz my bubbles are too strong? Pls advice... Vincent Ho

  19. Hi all!! I'm giving away a small Domino Damsel and 1 blue fish ( dunno its name ) for adoption.... no problems with the fish, just dat I'm trying to cut down the LS I have.... Pls PM is interest and leave me your contact number... Self collect at Hougang. Vincent Ho
  20. Hmmm.... dat's another piece of knowledge... just dat i'm pretty surprised, coz the boxfish was prefectly fine in the morning before I left for work... Maybe there was certain problems not visible to the ###### eye, but my 2 boxfishes, same size are doing very well... Anyway, just have to continue observing my bubble... Vincent Ho
  21. Marcvelous, get a few of those cuttlefishes dat you wan lor... den get your GF to keep tapping the glass until the cuttlefish cant take it, den the fella would squirt, dat might trigger a chain reaction to all the other cuttlefish to start squirting.... when your water is all black, you cant see the weeds anymore wat... Wahahahaha....
  22. Hi all, thanxs for the condolences and advice... I tot the bubble is a pretty harmless coral, didn't know it has the ability to sting.... In any case, the boxfish was removed immediately upon discovery of its demise... Anyway, Rumour, thanks for standing up for me, the Marcvelous guy probably had a Xmas Eve Outing where he drank too much and ended up drunk... lying flat on the coffee shop table.... resting on a dirt-covered arm... So i guess he haven't gathered his senses as yet... But forgive him.... we all forgive and forget... Vincent Ho
  23. Marcvelous, evict the slugs/worms? wahahah , maybe a good idea is to get a warrant of arrest for them....
  24. Hmm... dun tink i agree on dat coz I've seen many white bubbles in matured display tanks around.... Hmm... guess I gotta make a trip to T95 or Roxy Square... Thanxs pals!! Vincent Ho
  25. Marcvelous, the cowfish had white spots when i bought it.... didn't realise it until I got the fella home... it den passed away while in quarantine... Very sad, but nonetheless a lesson learnt to check on the fishes you buy very closely b4 u pay for them... but still a lesson learnt, surely u wun ridicule me for dat? Vincent Ho
