    Arctica DBM 250 1/3HP Chiller

    Selling the above mentioned chiller after decomming.

     

    Used it for a number of years, pls expect some wear (you can see the coil in the picture) Still does the job well but there is a louder sound caused by the fan while in operation and when it cuts off.

     

    It will work nicely if you dont mind the noise, if not you can replace the fan from Aqua nautic or Derrick.

     

    Selling cheap at $250

    There is much chatter (though not 100% proven) that marine pure contributes aluminum. I removed them as a precautionary measure since the Maxpect spheres are not that expensive.
     
    Other things done is to remove anything with aluminum bits (eg. John Guest quick fittings)
    Ic, yup the chatter has been ongoing for abit, I do have quite alot of MP still though. Still in 2 minds if I should swap them out. Have you done a pre and post icp test?

    All my MP blocks/spheres & 2 bags of Bacteria King are removed & replaced with Maxspect bio sphere.
    I still have a couple of bags of Bacteria King media in there. Intend to leave them there since they should be OK.
    Changed it because of the Alum leak?

    Bubble Magus Dosing Pump set

    Selling the above mentioned.

     

    Consist of:

     

    1) BM Dosing Pump main unit (3 heads)

    2) BM extension unit x 2 (4 heads x2)

    3) Skimz dosing container

     

     

    The picture shows 2 heads with red tape, these 2 are faulty so you still have basically 9 heads that are working.
