  1. 10Q for the replies....but i thk Westerners methods of maintaining a marine tank cannot be followed right from the start to the end...does anyone have tried out this method b4 and are completely satisfied with what it is suppose to do????? spade...maybe you would like to share your view on this. BTW where you get your sump tank make?maybe i need to try this method out...and how much does it cost?
  2. hey....share the same problem....i guess anemonie require a certain kind of diet rather than lightings....current is important....as wat AT said is true...they will look for a best suitable place to house themselves....wat i meant by special diet means in addition to liquid coral food...they need to be fed with krill into their mouth....every anemonie have a mouth in the centre...tat's wat feeding tong are for
  3. hi there, Jus interested to know if anyone using Kent products? Highly recommended by Sea Life....issit really that good? Well I am using it all the while...but was just wondering anybody have any comments on their products. Does anyone use Kent and switch to some other brand later? All i know is that their salt is good and their coral vital is good. Thks alot.
  4. can someone please tell me wat's a refugium?
  5. 10mm is a good choice....more safe....personal opinion min 8mm....but your tank only 1.5ft....so no need 10mm...the pressure in the tank not so great....30-40kgs of LR should be enough....depend on what kind of structure u wanna your tank to look like(Bt Timah Hill or Mt Everest)....get it from Sea Life in Balestier....maybe still got LR sell....Kent Salt is the recommended salt....it has very good buffer abilities....well any type of filteration system also can use....canister also good lar....all depend on individual preference....jus like car....some prefer Toyota, some prefer Nissan....some die die also want Ferrari....all depends what you want as all serve the same purpose. OF is the highly popular choice among marine aquarist but if no OF means cannot keep marine fish meh?i think more important is the frequency of maintenace, type of filter media used etc
