  1. Anyway guys, I have just gotten another TLF phosban reactor 159 to run bio pellets. Tried to make e pellets spin around in e reactor by using a 2000l pump. However, it seems to only tumble even after I reduce E number of pellets..is that good enuff? Or e pellets will get lighter after a while n start spinning??

  2. Just done up the rockscape, added a phosban reactor from two little fishes.

Added some corals from my previous tank. Tank should be ready for fishes soon :)

Photos are of lousy Iphone 5 quality. Will upload some using my DSLR when there's more livestock.

  3. So far my mandarin has been roaming around to eat the pods in the tank. I did see some but not sure it Alot. It has been we mi for a week, I do see him eat and spill out the pellet.. Not sure if it eating. Will monitor bumblebee more closely. Sent from my GT-N7105 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
At the start, probably there's still some pods.. But your mandarin may not last long as there's not enuff live rocks to breed enuff pods. Pellets eating mandarins are hard to train. You can try blood worms, I did manage to train mine to eat them until it decided to jump
  4. Anthias are social fishes that do well in groups. Are you sure about keeping them and a few tangs together? The tank size and the bioload are issues you need to consider carefully.
Thanks for the reminder! Might go for things like sunburst that do well in small groups and keep to 2-3 tang :)
  5. what are you intending to keep?

Mainly LPS and soft corals. As its at my office, won't be able to monitor the water parameters religiously.. Fishes wise probably quite standard, clowns, gobies, anthias and a few tangs

    Anyway here's a photo of the sump.post-21059-0-45039500-1370864366_thumb.j

  6. Just upgraded my office tank (due to leaking issues) to the Aquarama Marine Competition tank (made by Aquatic Style). My biggest tank setup so far, so thought I could use some advices from fellow reefers.

Moved my old sump to the new tank including the rocks, hopefully can kick start the cycle.. need to get more rocks tho.. will keep posting photos and updates. Advices are greatly appreciated!

  9. Hey Guys,

Just buy a white warty and placed in my 2 feet Sump tank.. Placed a few damsels in too.. I have been doing some reading that overfeeding isn't good. Is 3 damsels too many at a time?

Also, my refugium area is pretty small (can check out the picture of the sump tank, picture was taken long ago, now its probably more packed with some corals). does it affect the warty much?

By the way, this my office tank, no chiller(aircon is on most of the time). DIY 2 Feet Main and Sump Tank with Skimz overflow system. Cheapo Boyu Skimmer, 1200l return pump with t5 lightings
