[My 4ft Tank from Italy!!]

Hi guys, i'm Marco and i'm writing you from Rome!

I discovered your Club since 2012 when i spent 1 week in Singapore. I discovered wonderfull city with fantastic people....and now i know that you're an expert reefers! :thumbsup:

I'm a reefkeeper since 4 years, after 10 years of freshwater tank, Discus community tank on top.

I show you some pics of my tank... and very soon some description.

I keep mine at 23/24 °C without problems. More O2, and less money! (In Itay we have not your wonderfull climate, but more cold )

Wowww!! I've seen the Jebao WP 40....13000L/h ...like a Vortech but at less than 100 $ !! mumble mumble...

We know and use Skimz ...but only now i know that is from SG

i'm forgetting that obviously i don't use chiller like you, but a 200w thermostat for winter period.

In summer (now) one fan is more than enough.

I've read on your posts that you use almost the same technical instrument of us, mainly Deutschland or USA brand... Deltec, Tunze, Vortech, Korallen Zucht ..etcetc

In Italy we've some Brand that we use, maybe you dont know its: Acquatronica, LGM Aquari, SHG, Elos, GNCitalia

i whant ask you: there is some local brand (or asian) that you use for your tank?

I present to you my saltwater tank:

Size: 120x50x60 360 liters, 1,2cm glass extraclean

Illuminations: 2 Ecotech Radion with TIR Lens upgrade

Propeller Pumps: 1 Vortech Mp40 at reef crest mode on left side and 1 Koralia 5Evo 1 Koralia 2 on right side (i'm searchin another used mp40..)

Method: Deep Sand Bad with 130kg of Aragonite Fiji Purple and 30Kg of Live Rocks

Skimmer: Deltec APF 600

To see your tank i can say that are not difference for tecnichal and gestion method, maybe in italy there are more DSB method that you. The brands and the prices are the same too.. Deltec, Hydor, Tunze, Ecotech..maybe only on the prices of animals you are more cheepest for exportation reason, but i'm not sure.

However you have a wonderfull tank! Congratulations.

Next Monday i'll be in Singapore, can you advise me some good fish/coral shop in your city??? Just for have a look!

i'm writing here to know how it goes the reefkeepers in the other countries of the world.

I'm setting up a new saltwater tank (120x50x60cm...4ft), with DSB Method, i think that it's ready in semptember, for now i've only two Ecotech Radion xr30w.

I'll post the pictures when will be the time..so we can setting up it togheter!

But the tank have to wait because now it's time to holidays for me, and i'll come to Singapore in the half August!!
