  2. Very nice , bro.

The coral colonies are of good size , healthy and strategically placed to facilitate good flow and strike an awesome visual impact.

Now the final arrays of colors from the Sps would rest on the effectiveness of your lighting.

Can't wait to see them, blue , red and all assorted colors.

May the colors of the corals bring joy and happiness to you and all reefers too.

    Cheers,

Thanks bro for your encouragement. I just started this hobby and hope to learn from you guys...by the way,I read your tank diary and your tank simply rocks!!!!

  3. Week 6

It is a fun week as I start to do minor maintainance of the tank using the tooth brush to rub off the algae and target fed my only shy fish in the tank

Hopefully my bay window project can last long ...

    Latest addition to the tank

    2 orange star fish

    1 blotched anthias

  4. Care to share on the Heat from Outside issue so far ?

Any problem or Smooth sailing ??

    Thanks

Hmm, I only run the tank for 5-6 weeks only. So far the highest temp reach was 34c without chiller.

Using the chiller took too much time to cool

down so had to change to drop in coil which is a great decision!

Placing the tank at the bay window is quite a challenge due to the space constraint and minor algae issue but if manage to solve it, it would a nice feature in the living room :))))

  5. Very nice setup bro! Following you.

On a sidenote, your house should be easy to spot.

When people ask for directions, just ask them to look for the brightest window in the block, <img src='http://www.sgreefclub.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> .

True true .. That what my fiend told me also when they go pass my flat :)))

Recieve a update that this fish (deep water anthias) is available for my tank, I immediately grab the chance as the color look nice. Right now is in a QT tank to train to feed .

Upload a pic to share with you guys

  6. U planted in your corals one shot? Hope your tank can cope with the sudden bioload since its only 5 weeks old. Anyway very nice scape, u DIY the scape?

Haha the scape is using the live rocks and my good friend help me with the placement of corals .

  7. Week 4

    Hi bro

I leave some gap at the top of the featured wall for air ventilation for the lights.is that enough?

This week mark the end of the cycling cycle of the tank. Next, will be the 20% water change and starting to add some corals in. :))

Hopefully 3 weeks of cycling is enough for the tank .

  8. Week 2

The carpentary and led lighting are up but one of the led lightings is not properly connected . cables for that led will be fixed next week

    - 2 weeks of cycling of water went pass and 1 more week to go! Must get ready the fishes and coral to start packing their bags to move in:) hahaha

    - Next week will be getting the Aircon guy to put the titanium coil to the sump area to hasten the chilling.

Attach a day shot and night shot of the tank
