sorry to hear of your loss.
Well i have experience this problem before on our test tank and found when we overfeed regardless of dry /liquid food ,the oxygen level in your tank will drop causing suffocation.
In the end i used a a bigger skimmer and problem solved.
seet
.
Seet,
Seems like i might in the same situation you are describing, and i turned off my skimmer and return pump for 2 hours after feeding.
However, i lost half my fishes, did you lose all?
I will be replacing my skimmer soon.

I am surprised of the many encouragements. Remaining fishes seems well, a bit stressed though. Water parameters are ok. Thanks all!

Ammonia and no3 is normal. Will test again tonight.Sorry to hear your losses. It happened to me before. My guess is maybe something died overnight, leading to sudden ammonia surge and death of other fishes. -
Bro. Do. U have any sea cucumber sea urchine?
No sea slug, no sea cucumber, no anemone death.Bro. Do. U have any sea cucumber sea urchine? -

Havent leh, scared to go home tonight. Wake is held at upper Thomson. Pek Kim can be in the form OS corals:)My condolences, bro. Find out the root cause yet? -
Bro, how do u feed now?Similar experience I had many mths ago. Feed with some liquid coral food and within half hour, all my fish belly up. -
So what's ur feeding regime, 1 type per day?Bro, I had similar experience as you. Some time back, I was feeding my tank a mixture of poly lab reef rod and phytoplankton about one/twice a week. All I had in tank at that time was, a couple of clowns, hammer, octo coral, zoas, yuma-mushrooms, jewel/gonio and a xenia frag. The next day after feedings, my mushrooms would shrink and spew black stuff out from it mouth. I thought it may be just expelling excessive waste due to the rich feeding, so I just continued the practise. However, 2-3 weeks of feeding later, I lost my hammer, followed by octo then jewel and lastly the xenia, all died in a span of less than 2 weeks. I do not know if it was the feeding, or something else. But I just stop feeding the reef rod & phytoplankton mixture since. -
Dumped the frozen food. Had them for 8 months, not a chance to react. Haiz..Bro, u might want to check the expiry date of ur coral foods. -
-
Last thing I did was feeding the corals.
My normal routine of mysis, ploy lab coral food and phytoplankton.
Woke up this morning and I was shocked w what I saw!
I am guessing its food poisoning as sps, lps are ok.
Anyone?
My current worry is the 2 missing anthias.

Nice...Nice....and you have
An eye for colors...
And neatness and flawless..
All shown in your reef domain.
Cheers,
YT.
Mike,
Thanks..
Actually finds it too neat, as compared to those flourishing "overcrowded" tanks with amazing colours
P/S: Saw you that day at cedric's place but was rushing so no time to talk. Hope to catch up someday.
