Will be closing down tank of 3 years - fishes evicted from premises. Would have more to sell, but thanks to Jason, Vincent and Rick for buying 3/4 of tank mates before I can even post!
Remaining tenants awaiting new home:
• One bicolor dwarf angel, about 2.5" (6.5 cm) - $5
• One Flagfin Angelfish, about 4.5" (11.5 cm) from Indo-Pacific Ocean. Brilliant yellow overall, with black and white on the ###### fin and blue lips. Quite shy when first introduced into the aquarium but can be quite 'sociable' when settled. - $20
Both healthy and free from disease.
Self-collect at Taman Jurong. Interested, pls sms me at 96251124

Hi friends,
Have a Naso Tang for sale. This handsome, chubby fellow is about 4.5 inches (11.5cm) long with smooth grey body tone, jet black dorsal fin and a golden 'crown'. Kept for about 2 years - hardy, healthy and free from disease. Voracious eater. Friendly at times and will eat from fingers.
Selling for $25.
Self-collect at Taman Jurong.
Interested, pls sms me at 96251124

Hi guys... hope someone can help me out. Had my tank since december. All was well. Had lots of mushrooms. Love ‘em. As of three weeks ago, they have all ceased to open. Most shrivelled up and start ed disappearing. Buttons have all closed and a layer of white film on it has grown. Guess they are dead for good.
I suspected it was the Liquid Calcium by Sea***m that triggered the series of deaths. Doused two capfuls into the tank ( according to instructions on bottle) and tragedy erupted. Next few days... coraline algae on rocks were turning purple, but mushrooms started closing. Anyone know the cause? What can I do to correct the problem? Done couple water changes but still not much help.

Guys!! I'm quite suprised by the overwhelming response. Sorry... for those of you who just PM me. All the LS have been sold.

Maybe he got all the fish name mixed up?
Names are all accurate... prices are correct. He is just trying to sell everything away, not intending to make profit etc. As for prices... that's what he quote. Im just posting on his behalf guys!

Hi guys,
Friend went overseas. Helping him sell off his remainder livestock. Besides the remainder fish listed below, he is concerned that his clownfish and anemone finds a good home.
Set consists:
A hand caught mated-pair of Amphiprion ocellaris clownfish:
- 1 male ocellaris about 5.5 cm
- 1 female ocellaris about 8 cm
- 1 anemone about 16 cm in width (not sure the scientific name - will post pic soon)
He paid $22 for the whole set since both the pair and anemone were collected together from the same spot. So guess they have been living symbiotically and are comfortable with each other for quite a while now. Quite amazing to watch nemo and gal 'lovingly' treat each other, and the anemone too, being the third party in their love triangle.
Both anemone and clownfishes have grown in size and colour since he bought. He bought it at $22 from a diver friend, but willing to let go for only $18. Interested pls let me know.
Other livestocks he is selling:
Purple Tang (chubby about 8 cm for $10)
Coral Beauty (6 cm for $8)
Purpleback pseudochromis (5 cm for $8)
Flame Angel (6 cm for $8)
4 Green chromis (5 cm, $5 each)
Selling all items VERY CHEAP as he is renting his house out soon!!

Currently have a 3 ft tank... at moment using an 18 watt marine white light from arcadia. Will fix stronger light later. But for the moment is the light sufficient?
-
What is the ideal temperature for anemones?
-
My anemone is about the size of two fist. Can those tablets still be used for bigger anemones such as mine?
-
Mushrooms and buttons generally do no need feeding. They get their nutrients from the water. When you do water change..the nutrients will be replenished. I have not fed mine and they're doing great.

Hi..got an anemone along with one pair of percula clownfish the other day. Questions?
How often does the anemone eats?
What can I feed it with besides little pieces of prawn meat?
(Sorry don't exactly know the name of the anemone..will post a pic soon)

I've heard from both sides. Some prefer to mix their own using salt mix. Others prefer to buy water from fish farms, etc.
1. Those that prefer not to buy say there's a risk involve as you never know what "bacteria" and other stuff are in the water.
2. Those that buy says it's safe and that too much work/time involved making your own (which is true..) hee hee
So what is the general practise for you expert reefers?

Whaa,, looks like se#chem prime is favoured huh?! Ok looks like I'm gonna get it then. Thanks guys!

I dose seachem Iodide since I keep Xenia and some softies. However, I only drip 2 drops every 2 days since I notice overdose of it will affect my LPS, I meant LPS not open as big as it can if overdose of Iodide.
When you dose seachem Iodide in... just curious...you just randomly squirt the drops directly in the tank.. or you mix with water and then pour it in?

Currently I have been using boiled water left overnight for water top-ups. i heard that by doing so...dont have to worry about the chlorine problem.. But is that safe enough?
Anyone can offer any tips or a better way to do it? Chemicals? Thanks!
-
Currently my tank contains only mushrooms and buttons. Do I need to add any supplements for them to grow properly? What is Marine Trace?
-
Thanks guys for enlightening me... at first thought they were like land mushroom... fixed in one spot forever! Or...don't tell me they uproot themselves and hop to a better location too! hahaha....
-
Do mushrooms "roam" around on a LR? One day I saw this mushroom in my tank fully extended... turn of the light.. shrivelled up as usual. Turn on light... fully extended again - - SO it's fine.
Next day... it's gone! Do they migrate or something?

Looking to stock my 3 ft x 1.5 ft x 1.5 ft with schooling fish. Anyone have any suggestions (besides damsels)? Preferably the peaceful sort.

Any one have any bad experience with CBS? Mine seems kinda agressive. Whenever I feed my small anemone with shrimp, it would charge towards it and DIG the shrimp out. PLus I've seen it raise its claws at anything that moves past!
-
Anyone have any experience with Marine Ply wood? My 3ft tank plus cabinet is made with that...and Im kinda wondering now (hope it's not too late) if it's strong enough...

Do Naso Tangs eat buttons?
Currently have one yellow belly damsel and the Naso Tang. Buttons were fine with the damsel for a few weeks. After adding Naso, buttons falling all over the place. Is Naso the culprit?
