Oh.. Noted tat.Good skimmer if not space for both. Meaning oversize.
But need to take care of all elements as the skimmer will skimmer everything good or bad

Then the height of the glass between the skimmer & return pump section will be the height of your water that your skimmer is placed in.

What is your sump design like?
In most sumps, the 'skimmer section' would have a glass panel that separates it from the other section. This would typically be the sump/skimmer water level.
Water flow down to 4" length mechanical filter compartment then to 8" length skimmer compartment then to 5" length return pump compartment. Design no so sure. But sump tank height is 16".

If I were to total both DT and sump water volume.. It is abt 200ltrs of water.

So far... I've only found skimz sm121 able to fit the skimmer compartment in the sump as my skimmer compartment only 8" x 9"... Lol

But hw would i know the sump water level jus by knowing the measurement? I read tat skimmer need to have certain water level in order to be in it optimum performance...

Do u guys factor in ur sump tank water volume as tank volume or jus calculate the water in DT?

Bro... So ur return pump is placed in the same compartment as ur skimmer?My tank is 2 ft cube. The sump I think is 18inch by 16. I can't remember.

Thanks bro... This info save me alot of trouble searching which brand.Skimmer. Get those with small footprint. I.e pump is inside chamber. Think skimz make a few of these models

Unfortunately i dont have the luxury to have the best of both world. Can only choose one. Even juz by choosing skimmer also have size restriction. Lol. Sump length abt 18" only.

So.. Can i say refugium not as impt? I read ard and seems like refugium is for fish food cultivation.. The other purpose is something like remove nitrate...Skimmer !!!
