  1. There are 5 stalks in a branch with 1 different color from the rest. Maybe its bleach, not sure.
  2. My green prata brain which already RIP.
  3. Don't think I can edit the title. Thinking hard of any word to replace 'successful'. What I meant are reefers who have :- - basic equipment like sump, skimmer, lighting, etc - sucessfully maintain good water quality - successfully maintain soft and easy hard corals including fishes - and don't have to invest too much money or time on the hobby
  4. Currently I have a 2.5ft Juwel tank with basic setup for marine. http://www.sgreefclub.com/forum/index.php?...opic=11033&st=0 I'm looking into the feasibility of converting my current 4ft Freshwater Juwel Tank into a Marine one with additional outlay of not more than S$2k. I hope to visit experienced reefers and seek first hand advise on their tank and setup. Prefered reefers staying in the Paris Ris /Tampines areas. Please PM, email or HP: 96192273 if anyone is kind enough to offer me a visit to their setup. (like to take photo as well) Wee Kiong

  8. Will probably put up a few other pieces of LS & clam for sales if conditions become unfavourable. Will probably concentrate on softies and easy types that can adapt to current my tank conditions.
  9. From Reefworld Pasir Ris 2 weeks ago for S$60. Searching for Yellow & Blue Blasto !
  10. My newly purchased Red Blastomussa
  11. The clam was purchased to try to reduce Nitrate. My lighting is definately insuffient. Will see how it go.
  12. My Red Prata since May last year.
  13. My Tank as of 11 May 2004. Due to constant high nitrate of around 40-60ppm performed the following as advised by some reefers here :- Remove all internal sponges from my filters and put only Chemi-pure and pre-filter wool. As I did it almost the same time and maybe because of the sudden 'shock', 3 of my fish (2 percula & 1 Flame) suddenly got 'white spot'. Within a week 1 percula & flame were dead together with 1 or 2 corals. Currently nitrate hovers around 40ppm, left only 3 fish and got myself a clam, some yuma and a pink Blastomussa. Probably will be concentrating on soft corals instead. Will also be thinking of upgrading my Skimmer caused the current small Sander Air Wooden stone type seldom works.
  14. Like to know if the Prizm Skimmer really works. Any maintenance issues ? My tank has a back allowance of only 2-3". Will it be sufficient to fit thu ? What is the height rising from the water level. Thanks
  15. Greater than 3" length, green with pinkish tips (if you can see them)
  16. Thanks, will try both of yours suggestions. Anyway, those interested viewing at 615, Elias Road (Pasir Ris) after 8.30pm weekdays, weekend various time, Call first. First come first serve.
  17. Thanks. Yes, the 2.5ft (125 litres) Juwel tank has standard pricing which c/w internal filter, heater and 2x 15w lighting. I think the high nitrate is due to excessive bioload then, currently only have 7 fish and trying to maintain my nitrate at 35-50ppm level. Hence only hardy soft/hard corals for me now.
  18. Purchased this frogspawn for S$25 on Saturday Selling at S$20 or swop with Red/Blue/Green Yellow Ricordia Letting go because it is not expanding as mine tank Nitrate always hovers around 30-45 ppm. http://www.sgreefclub.com/forum/index.php?...t=0#entry194988
  19. My tank as of 3 May 2004. Water Parameter (typical): Ammonia - Not check, Nitrite - Not check, Nitrate - 30-45 ppm PH - 8.3, Temp - 27-28C, Salinity - Not check
