hello reefer ,
recently taken a liking in clam due to the upgrading of light ....er , one simple qn to ask which might seem easy for the expert ... how to diffentiate which breed or kind they belong to??
in fact , like always kanna con by lfs , they say what i believe what ... haiz , can someone enlighten mi and probably will be better to post a pic for a clearer picture ...

as usual, my coral has outgrown the space i dedicated it to have ...
luminious green elegance ( 3 headed) and open up to be quite big....
length is around 10 cm ...
super healthy , bought at 40 dollars , selling at 35 ...
sorry no pic but ensure it is a super healthy and colourful coral... but it is a bit agressive , eaten 2 of my clown b4

what !!! the price of pistol has shot up to 16 to 18 dollars >>???
i noe the red banded one is more ex but last time i got it only for 8 dollars in ###### and the normal white orange for 5...bad experience with them , need to clear all the rock to get them out haha

damsels are generally agressive toward one another so it is common ...but i dun understand why till now then fight , it is because the yt take over one of their territory??

i know that live rock are part of the bio filtration and wanna know is it the more the merrier??
, my prob is the nitrate part lah , ammonia and nitrite is not detectable but stupid nitrate cant seem to go down haha....how live rock get rid of nitrate ar ?? care to share ??
what is the curent pricing of live rock and where to get cure ones hee hee ...??

my shrimp eat all the leftover food ...frozen stuff .... i dun actually take any special attention to feed them ... and they are with mi for at least 4months ... hee hee

ya last time when i have my pistol shrimp , can do nothing but see them dig dig dig ... haha, just hope tt my main structure dun fall because of all the digging ...
how to catch them , for mi i remove all th live rock to catch them and put them in my FUGE , great time for restructure , mine easier because just 2 feet tank , if they are not endangering the tank or LS , IMO, just live with it , quite difficult to catch them one ...

haha, flooding occur to mi when i started this hobby too ...
stupid mi forget to put the o-ring in my ehiem 2213 then guess what ,whole room flooded .... for mi i think i mop the floor for at least 2 days to TOTALLY get rid of all the salt water stickiness
after that become smarter , will always have at least 4-5kg spare of salt at house just in case lah , touch wood....will always double check secure everything after a water change or alteration to the tank

but be careful when u are changing water because it will be a great deal to them if change too much , and ya
1) 2 cleaner shrimp
2) 2 fire shrimp
they could be quite quarrelsome at times ....

which ehiem modal are u using and what cause it to fail.
i think most of us use ehiem due to it's reputation and credibility , care to share what actuallY happened to the canister that cause it to flood ??
