Also just to add: if you have small zoas/colonies that remain closed for longer periods and fish that like to pick at the rocks, they can often mistake the closed polyps for sponges and potentially chomp them off before they can open up again, or in the very least discourage them from opening up for even longer

As long as it doesn't go all slimy then it should eventually open back up. Sounds like it didn't like the glue or it doesn't like the location/water flow in the tank. Some times they can be closed up for a few weeks as the acclimate to a new tank.
Ah ic! Kinda weird cos my other zoas on the frag rack are opening! Maybe it didn’t like the glue Should I reglue it or leave it ?

Had one polyp of zoas on a frag plug. The glue came off and I reglued it to the plug. I noticed the zoas opened for a day, then it remained closed for a week. The polyp shrinked, is it dead?

The one I got from farm took around a week before half of the polyps open! About 2 weeks for it to be fully open.

RO membrane works by passing some water though the membrane (becomes clean water). And leaving some that does NOT pass through the membrane as waste water that flushes out.
Having a booster pump will increase the amount of water passing through the membrane - hence improving good/waste water ratio.

I just did a test. I’m getting 500ml of rodi water in 5mins. Wastage is around 1.2litres of water! Would need some advise, is it normally that slow for rodi water? Or do I have to get a pressure booster?
