ZeRoCool, yours is the newer batch of CL650 or the older one? it is the noise level that i am concern.
as you mentioned, on/off: 2 -3 x an hour @ 25 degrees when lights on and 1 x an hour @ 25 degrees when lights off sounds alright to me.
as for the temp, i was talking to my friend days ago, he can help me to buy a temp controller and modify it so much so that it allows me to control the start and off temp that i set. (example, when temp reach 27degC the chiller run, and when it cool down to 24degC the chiller stop...) controller cost about S$100 odd..
the LFS at Yishun is selling for S$550 (CL650) but only one month warranty... and i know another LFS is selling lower that this price but NO warranty.

seriously considering getting this chiller...
can anyone give some feedback... especially if you are using one.
(1) what is the wattages of this chiller?
(2) does it on/off very often? i am on a 3x2x2 with a 2.5x1.8x1.8 sump ...

where you get your Sicce Extrema 800-2400l/hr at $75 (1yr warranty).
only 35watts ?? ...
i am thinking of using my 2 existing pumps as combination. one 1600l/hr (18watts) and one 800 /hr (12watts) connected to a Y joint providing total flowrate to the skimmer... any comment?

Just want to survey how many of you keep one (or two) Emperor Angelfish in your tank?
How’s its behavior like?
- It is aggressive toward other fishes
- Does it pick on any corals?
- What food you give them?

Hi .. Can someone tell me some info about Weipro SA2013 skimmer?
(1) Capacity of Tank it can handle? (ie: 500 liters...)
(2) What is the pump size to match? (ie: 1800 liter/hrs...)
I am given the skimmer by a friend but have no information nor instruction about it...

a LFS is selling me a Resun CL-650 chiller for S$600 but i heard Resun has so call the newer and older batch, the latter being the noisy batch and the newer ones are much improved and very quiet.
How can i tell the old from the new ? packaging design ? manufacturing date ? or ?
Don't want to throw in that much of money and in the end kanna cheated... so come here to seek advises first.
