  1. Item has been reserved at the moment. Will announce if buyer back off.
  2. For those of you who ask for a discount, final price $60. I still have the user manual with me but sorry no box.
  3. Eheim Autofeeder for sale. Bought it at $111 9months ago and selling for $70. It is still under the 24month guarantee. Selling because i bought it for my oversea trip and does not need it anymore. Refer to the below site for some details. http://saltaquarium.about.com/cs/autofeede...m3581feeder.htm Buyer please collect at Sengkang MRT station.
  4. Thanks for the feedback guys, will look into improving it. By the way, interesting, the algae is significantly lesser now with all the same light condition. See this picture compare with the previous one posted on 6mar09. I did not do any cleaning since that last picture and see the difference.
  5. There's more algae growing on the glass than the mesh.
  6. Yes, the sunlight helps because my tank is situated at the balcony and my overflow is facing outside. Anyway, even the growth in my overflow has slow down, see this latest picture for 2week's growth. There's also more green than brown algae now.
  7. Sorry, no i did not take any readings. But the speed of nuisance algae growth on my main tank has reduced dramatically. The result is better than when i was using FR. I can see a lot of pods crawling in my overflow compartment too.
  8. It is actually good because all that growth absorb my nitrate and phosphate. Maintenance is easy, i just scrap them off with a credit card. Since this is in the overflow compartment, all the algae that is scrap off get trap in my mechanical filter(i dump the cotton wool after that).
  9. Due to the strong sunlight and my 24hours LED lamp, every 2 week, i have this amount of Algae growth.
  10. Found the safety data sheet for this exact product here. http://www.greatart.co.uk/DALERROWNEYSYSTE...ylic-paints.htm DALER_ROWNEY_SYSTEM_3_ACRYLIC_.pdf
  11. Bro, you are good. Thanks for the fast respond. I will avoid red if i were to ever use it again.
  12. Bro, thanks for the advice. But, i think Cadmium Scarlet written on the bottle is use to describe the color type, i went to check my other bottles and i have Process Yellow, SAP Green written on the same location. Bottle did not state what is the ingredient. The reason why i choose this is because it is written on the bottle that this has High Pigment loading, durable, water resistant and excellent adhesion. Anyway, it has been in my tank for a month already and thank god so far no casualty.
  13. I uses the Acrylic paint as shown below. It is suppose to be hardy as it is use to paint wall mural. To play safe, after drying, i soak the coral in a pail of water for 2weeks before puting it into my tank.
  14. Decided to paint a dead skeleton coral. This is the picture of it after 1 month in my tank.
  15. Decided to paint a dead skeleton coral. This is the picture of it after 1 month in my tank.
  16. I bought it from Mustafa for i think $24. It is actually a torch but i have DIY it to be a lamp by removing the battery and powering it with a 5V DC adaptor.
  17. Sorry, this item has been reserved at the moment. I will contact those in line if buyer back off. Thanks for the interest.
  18. Sorry, my mistake, the media should be Sorb4 instead of Rowaphos. I am confuse, apology again.
  19. I have the below Skimz Fluidized Reactor for Sale at $50. i will give sincere buyer the pump(800l/hr) and some leftover Rowaphos(enough for 1 more round of change) for free. Existing media inside the FR are also new(1week). Collection will be at Sengkang MRT. Interested buyer please PM me your handphone number.
  20. Just got this 30LED array as my light source which i install on top of the L-Box. I only set it on at night and it is super bright.
  21. Bro iceman, i think you are right, this setup is more like a refugium than a scrubber. I will think about it how i can improve on it. In the mean time, here's a photo of the algae growth after 1 week.
  22. Hi Bro iceman, thanks for the comment. You mean taking it out to clean? I cut the mesh to pieces of half feet width each so it will be easier for me to take out later. I did not just dump the whole roll in. Bro Fuel and John mention that for a scrubber to be effective, it should run wet/dry. Just for my knowledge, can you elaborate why? Arent you concern with the smell and splash? For my light source, i think i have 2option, 1)open the blue backing behind of the L-Box and install a 1.5feet light and/or install a LED array on top of the L-Box which direct light straight down into the L-box.
  23. This is the picture of before and after putting the screen into the L-box overflow. Havent find the light source which i intend to turn on at night. Currently, relying on the sunlight shining in.
  24. I got the mesh from Sengkang's Compasspoint Home-Fix DIY shop. I think you can find this shop anywhere in Singapore. It cost $7.50. Thanks all the bro for the feedback, i am afraid i cant modify my pipes anymore as everything is running for a few years already(also noise from water flow will be too loud if it is shorten). Anyway, this setup is just to compliment my skimmer which i do not intend to take out.
  25. I am planning to use this mesh as my screens for the Algae to attach to. Indicate here it is rust and corrode proof. Now i only need a light source. Will update again.
