  1. i haven't check how much i have spent on electricity assuming that there hasn't been much fluctuations in electricity past few months comparing to the most recent bill. i am also a little worried as there are so many equipment plugged in at the moment. takes more than a home entertainment system. "so reasons i give is its a hobby so it's like that one"

  2. Once ur big 3 hits the minimum required for marine tanks, Coraline algae will start to grow. Calcium 400-500ppm, KH 7-11dkh & Mg 1200-1500ppm. Keep these 3 parameters at higher but stable constant levels and u see ur Coraline algae growing fast as well as ur sps if u have any.

Thank you for the tips. I'll look forward to buying test kits for these big 3 elements. I just killed off a platoon sized nudibranch and the feeling of satisfaction to see it falling off the zoas.

  3. I had a closer look at your zoa in the above photo compared to your photo posted on 25 Nov. The zoa don't look as healthy as the earlier photo. Just to check did you dip your zoa. They are known to come with pests?

Yeah Bro. Most seemed to have closed up. The tanks been running from scartch since the day this thread was opened. Initially I thought they were not getting used to this tank and no they haven't been dipped. What could be crawling on the zoas?
