For me, Gouldian is the name of one of the most difficult pet I ever kept until Marine!
Gouldian Finch, it is not really a difficult to keep bird once you get the hang of it, what is most difficult is breeding it. The furthest I ever gone is have clutches after clutches of un-fertilized eggs - did not dare to try Vaigra.
Gouldian Finch is named by naturalist Sir John Gould dedicated to his wife thus the actual name should be Lady Gouldian Finch. He left England to Australia to document the wildlives and I guess he must have thought of he wife when he saw this bird.
Anyway for those who are curious to how the Gouldian Finch looks like, you can either look at the logo of Viewsonic or the below photo.
So why did I have a dog as my Avatar????? That will be answered in another episode. So Stay tuned.....

As for myself, i call myself acroporidae becos i like the polyps of the acroporidae. I could not convince myself to "polyp". or corallites...

Acroporidea its best if you stay out of this and don't try to stir up any flames which you are so fond of. I am not saying not to give other DIYers any chance. no offense though but the skimmate you collected in 1 week is what some of my customers collect in 1 day on a md55. And requires no break in time. ie after installation only less than 5 minutes and its skimming out already.
Can ask lightningstrike or triggerfish. hehehe
that may be due to their tanks having a heavy bioload/ or they were cycling their tank.
In fact, u cannot compare this way. you are diy guru u should know how to make a fair comparison.
Other newbie diyers deserve our support too.
btw, still waiting for your reply on whether i can buy your kalkreactor. If not, its ok.

color is white w green w light blue tips. color changes depending on lighting. under 6500k look.
if under 20k lights, it looks light green. i also dunno.
anyway, can swop with bubbles, if anyone wants.

u can connect it up to fit any size. shud be able to cover 2ft tank. not very sure.

2) undergravel filter plates $5, foc 1 bag of bioballs (planned to use for propagation tank, but lazy again)
3) corner bubble filter (used once when clown percula bred fries... but not using now), $5, foc AA 525 protein skimmer
4) foc 1 big bag of coral chips when u buy all.

It is durable and lasting. teak is also used to make boats.
