  1. I love my fishes and would like them to be happy as well. Currently, I have 10 bandits in my 2000 litres tank. This particular shy one is feeding very well but simply could not get along with the rest of its brothers and sisters. Therefore letting go at a heartache price. My loss is your gain. Contact 97103211 for more details and discussion Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  2. Was it a pair when you acquired them? I've 3 in total now. Very certain 1 is male and hopefully the other 2 are females. Do you think all 3 can go together [emoji38]. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  3. Thks! where can I get the Masstick seems interesting ! Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  4. Thank you, I've tried all the above with no luck Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  5. Look at my latest post. Still not eating pallets. Help me
  6. Any kind soul can teach me how to pellet train this stubborn fish? It is with me for 4 months now. It has no problem feeding at all, but just chose to eat prawns only! I even tried starving it for 3 days straight and it still refused to budge IMG_2815.MP4 IMG_1211.MP4 IMG_1896.MP4
  7. Not suitable for DT. No white spot. Currently in QT. Very active and nice colouration. Bought 3 months ago. $700 Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  8. 2 views into that. At least the gentlemen was being honest. So no time wastage for you to walk around and be disappointed. He went straight to the point! He's there to sell and you're there to buy. Given it's a "farm" customer service is not their priority. As for your opinion spending more elsewhere, please think twice. I had that mentality previously, and it backfired! There's a new LFS in town which I used to patronised. I must admit, They've the best customer service INITIALLY, but when issues and problems started to surface, they tried denying everything. over promising things which they can't even deliver given the speculated time frame. Oh and when they know you stop supporting them, you will be "back to coral farm attitude" [emoji3] Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  9. Apparently, it didn't work too well for me. Hence now they are all separated [emoji22] Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  10. I must say very nice pair of joculator [emoji4] I've no success in pairing them. Got 4, 1 didn't made it and god knows, the 3 couldn't get along [emoji52] ended up separating all of them. By the way, you've any experience in pairing zebrasoma tangs [emoji23] is this even possible?? I've been trying many times but without success in the DT. In QT they are ok as the space in very confined. Once I dump all into the DT, disaster [emoji33] Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  11. Very very nice pair. Saw the differential in size. I still do have another female which is similar size as the male. She's still in QT. I Guess I'll have a tough time getting them paired up. On another note, it's surprising to see how the newcomer manage to hold his ground towards the gem tang, when being approached. Moreover, it is the resident gem that got harassed by him [emoji23] Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  12. Dont take it for granted if the FS which states that they QT the fishes for you. If the fish dies, there's one particular fish shop will push the blame on your water quality [emoji23]
  13. NO!!! Most cases please make sure the fishes are feeding. I took the risk because it's the nature of the fish character. Large angels are known not to feed for the first couple of weeks. As for the LFS putting a premium stating that they QT the fishes, it's up to you to judge. I never believe in that LFS doing QT. As you said, tank was still full of ich 🤣 Put it bluntly, if your fishes die, you will acquire more. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  14. Yes 4 weeks won't be a problem. For large angels, I'm betting on 6 weeks max till we will see the stomach getting pinched and that's when one should get worried. I've one bandit that went without food for 6 weeks and after 4 months, it's still in QT tank. It just take time to fatten them up. Having said that, please bear in mind the time which the fish is being displayed in the LFS. There's one particular LFS in the western part of central region which brand themselves as extremely upmarket and believes in selling sky rocket high price and occasionally having sale, promotion and lucky draws [emoji33] That's the time you should avoid purchasing the fishes. That leaves the poor little fish in display for some time. By the time consumer bags it home, the fish will have limited time left for survivability. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  15. They are classified towards deep sea fishes. Should be acclimated to 21-22 degrees max for Long term survivability. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  16. What was your temperature set at? If sudden death, more likely that will be the factor. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  17. During feeding time they will appear [emoji3] Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  18. Just pretend those fishes never existed in your tank. In due time, once acclimated to its surrounding, they will be out very often. My dejongi and candy hid for more than a month, thereafter it's always out in the open. It's just the characteristic of some fishes. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  19. Bandit are fairly easy to keep. May I ask if the bandit suddenly ceased to eat ? My bandits are mainly around that sizes. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  20. Yes locally. It's currently in a 120l QT with some lousy cheap setup. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  21. Thank you. The other half are on the other side of the tank [emoji4] Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  22. Frozen prawns. Pallets are meshed with the frozen prawns together and she's accepting it. She just wouldn't swallow the pallets standalone. My aim ultimately is to get her to feed on nori in the Long run. I didn't wish to choose the frozen food opt, but given she hasn't taken anything for 4 weeks my priority is to get her to survive [emoji23] Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  23. Thank you. Yes, he's been totally ignoring all food thrown into the tank for the entire 4 weeks. He finally snapped last night and decided to do a 360 degrees chg [emoji23] the hard part now is getting him to go for pallets Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  24. I've was lucky enough to acquire the holy grail of angelfish, the conspicuous spectacled angelfish, however, was not that lucky enough to get a smaller specimen that will start to feed immediately. The specimen i acquired was approx 6.5 inches. Initially, I was reluctant to bring the her back home given its size, after much contemplation, i went ahead with it. How many times do we actually see this fish surface in trade?? Since the opportunity was there to purchase one, i took the gamble. i knew the difficulties which I've to face in getting her to feed. After almost 4 weeks, she finally took her first bite and, all in a day Breakfast Lunch Dinner and Supper! IMG_5286.MP4
