U are right. Most filter socks need to he modded. Do u have a photo of the filter cups with floss?I don’t think other brand of filter socks are able to fit unless u do some mod to the socks. Anyway I changed my socks to filter cups with floss. Easier to change also.

Hi. I'm using one for abt a month plus. Very quiet operation . It's running 24hrs and electrical bill does not differ that much. Not sure abt the wattage . Getting 28.5 degress on red sea nano setup. My advise to place this on open area for best cooling.
