  2. If your tank is well established with presence of natural tiny pods. Then i guess you can give it a try. But it'll be best if you can train it to eat chop up mysis or other fishfood.

Its the same problem with Mandarins. If you don't have the environment to cultivate enough live pods for it to eat, it will stay alive initially while live food is available and slowly starve to death once it runs out.

Yep i got a healthy small copperband. Already trying tubifex. Will get some frozen mysis for it.

  3. I would say yes with caution, in that it would fit a small sized copperband, best if u are prepared to spend effort in getting it to eat. It will also help if none of your fishes are currently fighting ich, as new Copperbands catch on ich pretty quickly in a new environment due especially if it is not eating. Survivability of copperband in captive environment varies from 1 week to 1 year so be prepared.

I am prepared to use different ways to feed. My tank has not suffered any ich issues. Thanks for your advice :).

  6. Hi everyone, this is a big shock to me. I was watching some videos on bobbit worms and I was thinking to myself, I would never get them and I went back to my tank. And inside a hole in one of the rocks, I see a red wormish head poking out with like 3 long tentacles and 2 short ones? Before retracting back. I was really shocked and worried, how could I have gotten a bobbit worm? Of course there are many different Eunicidae worms and mine is red, so it should not be those huge 6 feet tank destroying ones right? I am that "Leave it in the tank unless proven guilty" guy. And I would really be happy if it is safe, they are kinda cool IMO. Anyone can give any advices on this worm? It would be really greatly appreciated! Thanks! (i'll try to get a pic.) Btw, anyone here also get this kind of worms before? I got this worm in a live rock from a marine shop in pasir ris Haha.

  8. Pasir Ris Farmway is a good place to go. Few marine shops so look and ask for the price then compare.

  9. i guess it depends what "affordable" means to you.. in general reef keeping is not a cheap hobby.
if you get livestocks from the lfs here the price range are pretty standard and not too much deviation.
for value deals can check out the pasar malam section
you can find all the lfs here in the forum link.

Oh by affordable i mean like standard usual prices. Like a cleaner shrimp being 15 dollars instead of 20 for a small one. Thanks for the link! I'll look through it.

  11. Hi everyone, I am looking for a marine store that sells affordable livestock. I am looking for golden coral banded shrimp, pistol shrimps, nassarius snails and maybe corals like frogspawns. Anyone knows a shop that sells these for an affordable price? Also, can get to via public transport Lol, no car. Thanks!
