any updates on ur tank? have u started keeping sps? i heard it is almost impossible to keep sps in a nano tank because the water parameters swing too much!
Yo actually I have upgraded the tank to a 2ft and even then keeping sps is a challenge still.. I’m trying to find a better chiller maybe HS-28a then can see more results.. will post pics and update soon!!

Just an update, diatoms finally cleared and I added another tank to act as a sump.. gonna add cheato in then see how it goes from there.. changed my lights from Nemolight to AI prime HD as the nemolight some led is spoiled already hence I shift it to my quarrantine tank to use.. trying out whether the tank is able to keep sps now with contribution from fellow Reefer Edwin..

Hey guys! Just wanna hear what ya’ll think of my new tank, like what can i apply to a small system like mine and as much adive you guys can give
im rockin’ a Fluval edge 12G (modified) equipped with
- kessil a80 with a controller
- fluval C2
- carbon bag
- caribsea Hawaiian black sand
- reef rock 2.1
- RO/DI water with red sea salt
- planning to get a tunze osmolator nano too
What corals should i keep?
What fish would suit best in my setup?
What and how much inverts do i need?

You should a skimmer too if you’re system have one, a small return pump(to act like wavewaker) or wavewaker to creat a decent current to mimic the ocean conditions.. -
Algae will settle down after 1-2 mths. Just put it out of sunlight's way.

Yes dymax iq7.. right now I’m limiting my day light to 6 hours( blue+ white), rest is night(blue only).. hoping to control the algae from getting out of control.. -
Right been a couple of months and I guess it’s time to update.. had some discussion w fellow reefers and decided to change the artificial rock to dead rock and using epoxy to form a basic rock.. population in the tank now
2x hermit crab
2x turbo snails
2x Nassarrius snails
1x cleaner shrimp
1x clownfish
1x green bubble anemone

hi, thanks for the info..currently i have 2 clown, 2 cleaner shrimp ,1goby, 1 gsp, 1zoa only 2 head and a xenia...every thing is good so far, tank is about 3 weeks old.
