Weather here in Singapore has been quite warm the past weekA. At times, hitting 32DegC inside the apartment
The compressor kicked in more often. That prompted me to check the compressor temperature controller & realized that the accuracy drifted by about 0.5degC. That is, its reading too warm => cooling the tank 0.5DegC more than it should. I cross checked the Apex temp probe (supposed to be a 'long life' probe which is 3yrs old & still accurate when further cross referenced to an alcohol thermometer)
Monitoring stuff :
Emerald crab munching away on red turf algae. Some of them have grown quite big ~ 1.5" big.

Your emerald crab not going to corals? I got bad experience with this guy eating my torch.

Hi All
I am facing an issue with Arctica chiller, anyone know chiller expert or technician who can look at.
Chiller fan and compressor is not working when it is supposed to start, but green light is on.
temp in chiller is way off from tank temp 12 hr after calibrated

Hi All,
Anyone using Zetlight zt6600 model ? I would like to know the optimal setting for light channels (white,blue,color,violet).
I am currently using as following for my 2.5ft tank however I am not sure of if I set the right setting. Appreciate if you could share yours.

Hi Reefers
I alway have a love and hate relationship with RBTA and feeling guilty for making them shrink.
Anemone always shrink after around one moth later whenever I introduced in my tank.
Any suggestions and ideas would be appreciated
