    The Berlin Air-Lift 60 is a high performance, low cost internal skimmer based on the Berlin Triple-Pass principle. The Air-Lift is powered by a lime wood air-stone attached to an external air pump (not supplied), these compact units are easy to install and maintain.

    Rated for 240 liter / 60 gal.

    Will sell with a 2ft double tube FL Rainbow Batlight with individual light switch and throw in a 2" golden trevally that got bullied in my tank.... :paiseh:

    The triple-pass is combined with a powerful Venturi air injector, greatly enhancing the efficiency of the skimmer. Air bubbles and protein rich water are concentrated in the narrow inner tube, ensuring good mixing and maximum surface contact. The air/water mixture swirls up the inner tube into the wider reaction chamber, causing a relaxation of the turbulent water and separation of the protein rich foam at the water surface, which rises into the collection cup. The air bubbles move down the chamber by the force of the water current until reaching the air return skirt located at its base. The skirt effectively enlarges the diameter of the chamber, eliminating the downward force on the air bubbles. The bubbles then rise up through the chamber against the downward flow of the water (counter current), causing great turbulence and increased contact time. The Venturi air injector produces a consistent quantity of fine air bubbles, ensuring a large surface area for collection of waste materials. The skirt effectively enlarges the diameter of the chamber, eliminating the downward force on the air bubbles. The bubbles then rise up through the chamber against the downward flow of the water (counter current), causing great turbulence and increased contact time. The Venturi air injector produces a consistent quantity of fine air bubbles, ensuring a large surface area for collection of waste materials.

    yes bro...haha..thats why i dun mind keeping it.

    but dun forget...higher watts means also higher chances of algae growth..

    thats why for me now...i cant even on the light for too long. otherwise algae knock on my door liao...

    but if using 1 single FL tube...i can on much much longer...

    Hmm.. Since you are looking to change to FL, and to save electricity... Why not swap with me? I have a Rainbow 2ft with individual switches for 2 tubes, and I have customed a row of 12 blue LEDs into the center with a separate fower source... Thus you can switch on the FL when you need it to be bright, and leave the LEDs on more more than 1/2 a day with low power consumption... :D

    i have two pieces of live rock.

    each should be anything from 2 to 3 kgs.

    from the goodness of your heart, you could swop with me for a small branch or two of live rock. otherwise, a coral will be okay. i have no specifics.

    failing which, i will be prepared to give away.
