  4. I came home and found my pufferfish with what appears to be his intestines hanging out about 6-8 cm. I suspect this somehow happened when he inflated then deflated. Even though he is swimming without any apparent discomfort, I fear there is nothing I can do to save him. [emoji22] Has anyone experienced a similar issue with pufferfish? Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do? Any expert advice would be greatly appreciated. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

  11. You can try emerald crabs to control it. Also can remove it manually with tweezers. Just use caution not to break bubbles in your tank otherwise you will release spores and make the situation worse. If you can remove affected rocks and remove bubbles outside of your tank this is less risk of unintentionally releasing spores. Bubble algae can take a while to completely eradicate and may require frequent maintenance over several weeks. There are likely many spores which you can’t see in your tank waiting to grow into visible bubbles. Also keeping nitrates and phosphates low will deprive algae of nutrients to grow. Reducing lighting schedule may also help but could have unintended consequences for your corals. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

  21. I need to shut down my IM Nano 10 before leaving for an extended holiday. You can help by giving my clownfish and her pet urchin a good home. Clownfish is about 5-6cm and has been with me for over 1 year. She can be a bully towards more docile fish, so needs the right tankmates or a tank to herself. Urchin is small, about 1-2cm. Need to clear by Wednesday or I’ll have to take them to my favorite LFS. Collection at 018965. You can PM me if interested. Thanks. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
