Woke up this morning and found my tuxedo urchin carrying a zoanthid on his back. I tried to remove it but it wouldn’t come off. The urchins are supposedly reef safe so he shouldn’t eat it. Also he is out all day so light won’t be a problem. Should I just leave it there and give you guys an update?

When my anemone didn’t eat I had to turn off my pumps and just lay something on top of him

Yes I fed him my temperature is usually 78-79 and ph was 8.1

Ok my anemone has just fallen face first into the sand so I took him out and put him out of his misery. Thanks for the advice though.

Week when I was testing my parameters I saw him halfway across my 75 gallon tank looking very bad. Should I tank him out of the tank or put him out of his misery?

Earlier he had started to peel off his rock. Now I can’t even find him. Water looks clear though so I don’t think he died.

Hi my anemone has been acting weird for a while but now he is all shriveled up and there is weird white things hanging to him what should I do!

Hello I have noticed for the past few weeks that my BTA has started to shrivel up multiple times a day. I do feed him and he has two host clownfish. I did switch the lights from a t5 with very old bulbs to an LED light. I asked another fish keeper and he said the anemone could be getting burned by the LED but I said that he still shriveled up with the T5 light so now I am stuck.

Does anyone know how long a 75 gallon saltwater tank with a 20 gallon refugium would last without power? Also what about a 10 gallon freshwater?

I have seen people keep them in reef tanks. Look at Dutch reefers YouTube channel because he has one.
