Will it be hard for a adult to reach the bottom of a 3ft tank by hand?

Not possible. Even for 2feet depth, probably not possible for most adults to reach the bottom without tongs.

Lighting and glueing lower frags might be an issue at 3 feet depth.

  2. Clearing some frags. Willing to trade for interesting zoas or sps frags as well.

    F1 - F5 - $15  (Fairy Dust)

    F6 - $30 (Fairy dust + sunflower zoa)

R1-6 - $20 (Rainbow infusion, all have 2-3 baby heads)

    S1-4 - $25 (Sakura Sunrise)

Bundle deal - subtract $5 for every extra frag bought.

    Location: Holland area

  3. From my experience, usually quite hard to save non-branching lps from brown jelly.  If you can't frag off the infected part, can try removing entire piece from tank and gently blowing the damaged tissue off (outside display tank), and iodine dip to try to preserve remaining tissue. Best if you can isolate the coral in separate tank so it doesn't spread to the rest of your corals. I would discard if too much of the coral is infected.

  4. trachyphyllia, candy cane, acans, euphyllia family (hammer, torch, frogspawn) are all quite easy.

For euphyllia, try to go for branching type so you can frag it if something happens to one of the heads.

  5. Hi reefers, I'm looking to sell my used Maxspect RSX R5 300W. Suitable for 4-5 ft tanks.

Condition is as good as new, I used for 6 months then kept as spare in cupboard for 2 months when I switched to Radions.

RRP is 1090. These have warranty until end August (roughly 3.5 months). Looking for 750.

Based near Holland Village. PM if interested.
