  6. you are doing things the wrong way. how can you afford to buy livestock without first buying an essential equipment such as a hydrometer? i would suggest you get some proper equipment like test kits and a hydrometer unless you want to experience your livestocks dying on you again.

  10. Hi Nicken! The tank is situated where it will only receive the late afternoon light.
  11. I chose to use a thick sandbed to compensate for lighting, which I think 11WPL is not sufficient, and also, the tank was used as a refugium from the main tank, so it would be beneficial as the bacterial is still intact.....
  12. Just setup the tank yesterday, everything has been brought over from my main tank (in case you're wondering). The tank is still in the setup stages, dimensions are 14"x9"x10" Currently using a 11W PL light which gives the yellowish tinge, intend to get the 50/50 tube.

  17. I have a rock of mushies, and I want to remove one head to place into another tank. How do I do that? Do I just use a pair of sissors and cut the head off, or do I just 'pluck' it from the rock using bare hands? Please advice. Thanks.
