Dont wori. My plc sometime got power shut off for few hrs. But it will only last for 1hr as they did the work quite fast. All fishes survived. But if you are keeping FlameAngel, monitor tat fella. My friend's angel died after 30mins without power.

Plse do it 1 day apart. I drip calcium and scrontium on same day, then Iodide and reef plus on next day, Reef carbonate on next day and Mag the next day.

That is right. I have a 3footer tank and a sump. Now I am adding a refugum tank next to it, standing on a cabinet with my chiller under it. jz like my main tank cabinet.

Im doing a Refugum wz Plenum DSB L:500mm, B:400, H:500mm. Where can I buy a nice simple cabinet strong enough to take its weight and put my chiller under it.
Im staying in the Eastside.

My NO3 have been always high but due to my extra effort and diligent of changing h20 regularly, now it drop to 10ppm. It maintain at that level since last month. Never add any No3 remover or sugar
......jz change h20. Now all fishes smiling and corals blooming!!!! I CAN SIT BACK AND RELAX WATCHING MY HOBBY

How does Reverse Osmosis (RO) & Reverse Osmosis / Deionization units (RO/DI) System works? Do you fix it to your tap permanently? Anyone using it? Where can I get it and the cost?
PS: My NO3 went down to 10ppm and dKh went up to 9.

Any example of silicate absorbing media? 3 pails water change every 2 weeks, but I use tap water instead of DI.

I jz add grease to those metal joints. Either u buy them or ask yr car workshop ppl to give u some....that what I did.
Bcareful when u add grease,try avoid spill over into sump tank when u apply.

Wave water flow no problem,strong enough. Cant blow towards the sand cuz tank will be cloudy wz sand. Got 1 sea cucumber n 2 turbo sails doing OT.
Dont hv silicate test kit. If that the problem,what the solution???
Glass also got it growing. Mayb its the light.
What is cannister filter tat help to exclude silicates and some phosphates? Name brands and where to get. I got a water treatment system but is for drinking.

Why is sandbed infested with brown algae? I tried phrosphate remover, change water regularly, suck out the affected sand n decrease my feeding.
N03 is about 30-40ppm, SG 1.025, Ph 8.5, dKH 7, CA 430ppm, MG 1230ppm.
Blue Light 11hrs, MH 6hrs.
Other corals and fishes doing well.

Transfer it to your sump tank,it will recover slowly and the legs will grow back. Tat what I did to my Brittle Star.

I drip 4 ltrs of kalk water which lasted abt 5-7 days every week. Will it cause any adverse reaction if I drip other supplements like magnesium, strontium, reef builder, calcium, combisan, & iodide together wz kalk.

Thanks for the gd info, Eudaceous. I have checkout more on this equipment and Im not getting it cuz its too expensive and it doesnt guarantee will solve problems. Presently Im doing regular water change every week or two, change wool filter, wash my skimmer cup every wk and top up the necessary supplements. I also just run another skimmer (my first skimmer) to supplement my present one. Enough to keep busy and workout those muscles.
The reason I pick up this hobby is to relax and enjoy the calming marine enviroment not to stress up with all these equipments. I will just maintain whatever I have even it not as beautiful as some display tanks.

Another question. Ive not seen any in action yet. Does all the brands of denitrator placed inside water or out hanging by the tank? Plse keep me inform cuz I noe nuts about this equipment.

Like to share any tips on refugium???
Mine is stand alone refugium. Water from sump tank pump into the refugium and out back to sump then straight to main tank. I'll post picture shortly
