  1. My NO3 have been always high but due to my extra effort and diligent of changing h20 regularly, now it drop to 10ppm. It maintain at that level since last month. Never add any No3 remover or sugar :lol: ......jz change h20.

    Now all fishes smiling and corals blooming!!!! I CAN SIT BACK AND RELAX WATCHING MY HOBBY :peace:B)

  2. How does Reverse Osmosis (RO) & Reverse Osmosis / Deionization units (RO/DI) System works? Do you fix it to your tap permanently? Anyone using it? Where can I get it and the cost?

    PS: My NO3 went down to 10ppm and dKh went up to 9.

  3. Wave water flow no problem,strong enough. Cant blow towards the sand cuz tank will be cloudy wz sand. Got 1 sea cucumber n 2 turbo sails doing OT.

    Dont hv silicate test kit. If that the problem,what the solution???

    Glass also got it growing. Mayb its the light.

    What is cannister filter tat help to exclude silicates and some phosphates? Name brands and where to get. I got a water treatment system but is for drinking.

  4. Why is sandbed infested with brown algae? I tried phrosphate remover, change water regularly, suck out the affected sand n decrease my feeding.

    N03 is about 30-40ppm, SG 1.025, Ph 8.5, dKH 7, CA 430ppm, MG 1230ppm.

    Blue Light 11hrs, MH 6hrs.

    Other corals and fishes doing well.

  5. Thanks for the gd info, Eudaceous. I have checkout more on this equipment and Im not getting it cuz its too expensive and it doesnt guarantee will solve problems. Presently Im doing regular water change every week or two, change wool filter, wash my skimmer cup every wk and top up the necessary supplements. I also just run another skimmer (my first skimmer) to supplement my present one. Enough to keep busy and workout those muscles.

    The reason I pick up this hobby is to relax and enjoy the calming marine enviroment not to stress up with all these equipments. I will just maintain whatever I have even it not as beautiful as some display tanks.

  6. Saw Dymax denitrator today. Cost $165. Any review on this product?

    Another question. Ive not seen any in action yet. Does all the brands of denitrator placed inside water or out hanging by the tank? Plse keep me inform cuz I noe nuts about this equipment.
