Urchins bro ; I had a similar problem and urchin just cleared the tank for me completely. I would rather go with the natural way rather than dosing stuff (not that there's anything wrong) but..give urchins a go. A few LFS have them.

Thanks everyone who contact me. It's been overwhelming (in a good way); and thanks to all those who were willing to sell / trade away some of their collection, and inviting me over to have a look at their collection. I'm still on the hunt for more zoas to add to my collection. Please continue to pm me !

Hopefully that's a typo; 34 degrees is really high even for just fish. A more suitable temp would be around the range of 26-28. High temps will stress fish out and eventually lead them to other problems.

1 degree in temperature should be fine; in fact in the wild temperatures do change similarly to some small extent; so long as the temperature doesn't swing to a large degree (+2/3 degrees) and over a small period or time / very quickly then it shouldn't be a problem.

Soft corals are a great easy start; much more forgiving and hardy and certain LPS. Consider corals such as leather, mushrooms, xenias, zoanthids. These corals can handle salinity swings and changes in parameters better. While they are not bulletproof as all corals still need good conditions, they are more adaptable and hardy.

Agreed looks like some form of pods more likely amphipods; reef safe may irritate zoas but for the most part not an issue
