Yes, it does trap Detritus in the form.
There are pro and cons.
To clean I use a stick to squeeze by pressing on the form, all detritus will be release.
And I use the small diameter pipes to suck it out.

What do you plan to keep!
First intended schooling Chromis only.
Now, maybe less fish and more corals...
Aims to keep:
Fishes - Existing 2 Chromis, maybe add on 2 Clown Fish.
SPS Coral - Digitata, Birdnest and etc
LPS Coral - Hammer, Frog Spawns, Torch and etc...

Honestly, I saw many selling away in carousell...
Most declare reason of sale, as upgrade.
Note: you may like to re-consider and how long will you be in tank size of 27 litres?

Gotten 7 smallest chromis, unfortunately todate balance 2 left.
Someone out of good will, given me some Digitata 2 days back.
Actually intended to glue the frag only...
Only use 10% of the glue.
So..., re-scape the whole tank...
Now only about 20% of the glue left... frag are left movable, in case adjust is required...

what is that black color foam like underneath the rock?
It’s those filter foam, I thought of using it under 2 main point.
1) housing of more beneficial bacterial
2) the foam to absorb impact if the rock collapsed.
