  1. Hi fellow reefers, I have been thinking long and hard about auto water changing and have planned out on how i would go about doing this. I currently have a reefer 200xl and i live in HDB. However, i do live at level 1 and can have a huge tank of saltwater outside and route it to my tank with perhaps the kamoer x2s water change pump. What are yall thoughts. TIA

  2. Yeah. The lady there was constantly trying to sell fishes/corals to me without checking on my proficiency in reefing (i am new to this)
she was trying to sell me a juvenile Clown Tang! Interestingly, I was watching a youtube clip with my son the night before on Tangs and the clown tang is one of the most aggressive Tangs out there! Certainly not recommended for a novice like myself.
yep. When i was looking for a tank and i stumbled across them. They told me that their tanks wouldn't need chillers for the corals and i didn't know much at that time and believed it but i went and look for more information, digging around the internet and other lfs. They kept urging me to hurry sign a contract and buy their tanks and addictives. thank god i was careful. never going back there again.

  4. I'm using Alkatronic, Mastertronic & Apex on my system. Each does a different thing.
Specifically for Mastertronic, it simplifies the testing regime. One key factor in this hobby is to prevent mistakes or at least to catch it early. Both the Alkatronic & Mastertronic do this effectively. As I've often said, what gets measured gets done.
One nice thing about the Mastertronic is that you can set the interval to whatever you like and not forced to test too regularly. Interval for each parameter can be different depending on the needs of the tank. Accuracy so far is spot on.
Wow alright i shall save up for them. Thank you :3
