  1. Chromis didn’t survive the first night [emoji17]. Hopefully my bi-colour will make it Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  2. Amazing stuff. Can’t wait for my frag to reach that size! Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  3. IME Red People Eaters and Watermelon Zoas are pretty hardy. Certain species of palys are too. I got a Captain Jerk Paly from FnM as my very first coral and they’re thriving now. Survived all my beginner mistakes too Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  4. Finally decided that enough was enough. After losing my clowns to a series of ich and brook, I’m pulling the plug on my DT and running a 75 day struck fallow for the remainder of my inhabitants (1 green chromis, 1 bicolour blenny) Going to be documenting my progress on a weekly basis. Will try to be disciplined about quarantining new arrivals in the future as well! Fishless DT Quarantine “Tank” with Cycled Media Medication - Seachem Paraguard Left my skunk cleaner and pistol shrimps back in my DT cos I doubt they’d survive the copper treatment or serve as hosts for the ich. 5. The Chinese chillers are based on TEM chilling as opposed to proper chillers that use refrigeration fluid so they’re a lot more reliable. Switched over to a Hailea from the AL60 and never looked back! Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  6. Thanks for the reply. I put UV as the same as blue hence the missing line. Will try increasing the blue and UV and reducing the red. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  7. Went through the same consideration before and decided to get caribsea. Never heard of the issues with AF as I have some friends using it with no issues. Key thing is to ensure that your tank is cycled properly I then decided to get normal white rock and made my own shapes. It just made a lot more sense money wise 🤣 Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  8. Hi guys, Had my light up and running for close to 2 months and my corals and RBTA dont seem too happy about the change over from my AquaKnight light. Anyone can share their settings via the QR code that they’re currently using for their tanks with some success? Thanks! Corals in tank: - RBTA - Lumi Green finger leather - Zoas - Torch - Hammer - GSP My Current Settings: Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

  12. Hi Guys, New member here. I recently did a tank move from a smaller tank to a larger 2ft tank and my torch coral hasnt been the same ever since. Ive already tried iodine dipping in Seachem ReefDip. I also flushed out the inside of the coral with some tank water using a turkey baster and saw some brown stuff wash out. Is it the dreaded BJD? Is my coral going to live? Salinity: 1.025 Temp: 26 Alk: 11.5 Cal: 450ppm Mag: 1320 Ammonia: 0.50 Nitrite: 0 Nitrate: 0 P.S: Yes im aware that theres some ammonia but ive used the mature media and sand from the previous cycled tank and im dosing nite out 2 as well so im expecting the ammonia to drop soon tho do let me know if ammonia can affect torches like this B6479474-0053-44E3-86A2-4A0D2278A382.MP4
