  1. hi all,

it doesn't seem like this post is against the bulk ordering guidelines, but if it is, please delete this post and i offer my apologies. seems like lots of posts have been deleted, so i better be careful. :)

i am going to buy an ozone generator to use in my next tank. everything i have read seems to indicate that ozone improves water quality, coupled of course with judicious use of carbon and orp monitor.

the cheapest ones in our current market is about $350 for a 50mg/h generator. this website sells a 200mg/h unit at US$45, excluding shipping.

    http://www.ozone.enaly.com/OZX-300U.htm

US$45 is slightly less than S$80.

Bulk orders will be cheaper. I will continue to email them and find out exactly how much cheaper. i will post their reply as soon as i receive it.

in the meantime, if you are interested, please include your name so that i have a rough idea of how many people are interested.

here is the RC link where i read about ozone uses, ozone effects on aquariums, diy ozone reactors, ozone generators, and precautions to take note. in the thread itself there are others useful links about ozone.

again, if this post is against guidelines, i apologize to the moderators for extra work. :)

    god bless,

  6. Hi everyone,

not sure if this is the right place to post my question, but it seems the most appropriate to me. :)

    so here goes.

    i wanna buy a small acrylic tank for a nano reef. the cheapest custom quote i have is $250 for a 2ft X 2Ft X 15".

does anyone know of a shop that sells ready made acrylic tanks? im thinking they might be cheaper than $250. thought about glass, but i like acrylic a whole lot better.

please help bros, my addiction getting serious. withdrawal symptoms starting......

  7. hi all,

i know its a little out of topic here, but why not consider starboard tanks? i read this bomber guy's thread in rc, and a loooong read it is, and what he says makes sense (at least to me). lots of currents to skim the crap outta there before it can form nitrates. and this other guy, idrhawke (wrong spelling?), drains the bottom of his dsb quite often. lots of stinky stuff according to him, definite no no for tanks.

so what do you think? i know they're fugly, but the ones shown aren't half bad. my next tank gonna be a starboard.
