  1. Hi AngelLove and Earth

    a) Which brand of pallet did u feed your angels ?

    B) Is it necessary to soak fish food with Selcon and Vitamin to get vibrant colour for the angels ?

    c) Is it necessary to feed sponge for the big angels ?

    d) Since u have some many angels, how do u maintain your water quality. I guess both of u must be changing a lot of water

and using a lot of Phosphate remover media ?

For me, I am feeding only pellets and seaweed to my King, Queen, Emperor, Blue Face, Majestic and Blue Ring in order to maintain water quality. My Queen is mostly yellowish golden without the striking vertical blue stripe on its body. I find it hard to maintain water quality if I feed them frozen food. What is your Phosphate and NO3 reading ?

When u add your queen and king angel, did u add both together ? Or did u put the angel into a QT box in the main tank. I am thinking of adding a blue angel into my tank which has a queen and a king angel. It take a very long time for my queen angel in the QT box to accept the king angel. What is my chance of adding a blue angel with a king and a queen angel ?

I did quarantine for about 2-3 weeks and the Clown Tang was feeding well before releasing into main tank. Not too sure whether the Clown Tang got white spots after the Powder Blue Tang "Terrorises" it in the main tank or the water quality still not good enough because I tried flame angels and coral beauty a few times. Each time the pygmy angels did not last more than 3 weeks in the tank. I have never been successful with pygmy angel.

I noticed u keep Clown tang and Clown Tang needs very clean water. My clown Tang died after about 3 weeks. Is the water quality more stringent for Clown Tang as compared to Powder Blue Tang? Currently, I am using Rowaphos to keep PO4 to 0 and AZNO3 to keep NO3 to 5 ppm. I am not using any carbon. Do I need to use carbon to remove other chemicals in the water ? What brand of carbon do u use and do u use it continuously or remove it after 2 or 3 days ?

  5. Hi Angel lovers

I had tried a few times to keep Coral Beauty and Flame Angel but it was not successful. My Koran Angel ,Purple Tang are alright. Any suggestions on how to keep Coral Beauty and Flame Angel. My water parameter is

    PH : 8.2 - 8.3

    KH : 9.2 -9.6

    NO3 : 10ppm

    PO4 : 2.5ppm

    Temp : 30 - 30.8 celcius ( Not using chiller )

I did not test for NH3 and NO2 since my tank is already mature( about 1.5 years ).

  6. Hi Alvin

Saw your Powder Blue Tang and the Clown Tang. Not successful in keeping the 2 fishes previously. How do u get these 2 fishes to eat inititally because they are choosy eater. Do they eat pellets or some other foods ? Also Powder Blue Tang catches white spot easily, how do u manage to keep them disease free ?

  7. Hi Wolvie

I noticed that the bubbles will formed towards the end of the week. I agreed with u because by end of week the water will get dirty and the when I do a 10% water change, the bubbles at the bottom of the overflow box will disappear. The bubbles will reappear again at the end of every week. Hence it could be high organic content as u said. I am using a MACRO skimmer and it does it usual job of skimming light brown skimmate.
