    In what sense? I know that T5 need electronic ballast and my PL is electronic ballast. If need to buy extra equipment, pls tell me what to buy. I new to DIY. :thanks:

    hi bro,

    must check the watt for ur eballast whether that it can support ur T5. if it is compatable....than its can be reused.........

    but its better to purchase a new eballast.

    How can you say you cannot compare Teco with Hailea.

    I have owned both. RA680 and the Hailea 1hp, was never impressed with the RA680, noise or performance

    im using RA680 and when compare with a hailea.....i still find teco a better choice. let see what other have to say........... ;)

    yap...u need to recycle ur new tank.....but use the old filter media so the cycle will be short.

    first, u put all ur LS and corals in a temporary storage........once done, shift ur old tank and put ur new tank. run the new tank and once it matures, slowly stock from your temporary storage.

    but, be prepare to loose some LS......i lost @ 40% during this process.
