Rubbish water...?.....

I got 2 that I can lend U ....about 2~2.5ft high.....normal pails that we use to mop the floor lah (of corse I don use this for mopping lah....duh...).....if that is sufficient for U....? If U want then...let me know when.....

I can't agree with U more....mine was the same case.....devastated when I saw other tanks doing well & mine's not...was always asking myself `what did i do wrong'......

Then maybe back to the old back-breaking, tooth-brushing scrubbing... *I did the above during last year fasting month....from 0600 hrs to 1200hrs....then to LFS to get new rowa....only rest around 1700 hrs....sigh*

CAn...no problem....but give it 1 months & the thing will REALLY transform into something taht U see at the scrap yard..... BTW...I got 2 big containers of such toys liao....

Recently I've discovered that my 1 yr old 1/2HP PC chiller is running longer than it should be....temp at that time was 25~27 deg cel. I called the repairman since it is still under warranty....when he came & had a look at the unit...he told me that the flow rate was just ok...infact he told me that it should be about 2000~2300 ltr/hr.... Now I reset the temp to 26~28 deg cel.....& so far its running for 6 hrs before it cut-off.....this afternoon....6 hrs to bring down temp from 1200 hrs to 1800 hrs....then at 1900 hrs it cut-in again... & has been running till now (look at this post posting time)... I was told that it will take 4 hrs or more to cool down a 4 ftr tank with the same unit... Anyone out there care to share how long before Ur chiller cut-in & cut-off........maybe of the same make, model & spec....& what did U do to tackle this problem.....

Same here...to all the reefers that celebrate the Chinese New Year.... Wah bro......that attachment of yours is my eldest son dream toy....thinking of buying for him for his 7th birthday.....

Guess Ur right.....somebody told me beckett is overkill....some says that its good...but at the end of the day.....if it works....it works....& U just have to part with some of Ur dough just to see to it......

Anyway...all the fishes are feeding on anything that are being thrown into the tank...even my children paper aeroplane (accidents do happen) ....even the golden angel which spend its daytime around the tank rather than hiding inbetween the rocks.....

Dare not...after hearing they peck on it.... What did i do for the cyano....hmmmm...... Initially I tried water change & adding rowa...even to the extend of using chemical...at that time was running Macro AS300 skimmer.....nothing......change rowa after taking PO4 reading....still nothing......scrub with toothbrush....all the LR...still nothing....infact...they grow back lah.....cut the lighting timing.....still grow back.....then..... Went for 1 week holiday to Malaysia....of course one day before I leave I make sure everything was okay...did water change....equipments check....filter media change...the sorts.....but when I came back..... ....even my wife almost fainted....the brown sludge was everywhere.... Then one of our reefer called me up informing his intention of letting go his mini beckett w/ pump (Rio HF32) for a very low price....even let me pay on installment when I told him I don have the budget.....I eventually took the skimmer & de-commisioned my Macro & ....WALLA.....within 2 weeks thing just clear up but the initial run of the beckett collected sludge which need to be cleared every 2 days... From that on I never look back except on my electricity bill.....

Actually...thats the whole idea but....this fishes prefer to swim in, out & around the rock rather than in the open waters....cheh...like in the movie lah.... The bigger fishes tend to swim there more often....
