  1. Most likely its fish poo... i see it on my sand bed, in between rocks... i've got a wave maker and quite a powerful return pump doing the circulation... i feed once a day, sometimes twice... is it normal? or is there something wrong with the placement of my wavemaker?

Tested, ammonia, nitrate and nitride, all zero... poo is from the few tangs i've got, namely yellow, purple and blue...

    pls advise! :)

Its' detritus bro..be careful...too much your nitrate will shoot up

  2. @Terryz, yes just plug in the hydors to the JBJ controller ocean pluse, it like another timer...

@Ray, yea it's the same prize cos it's really just re designeing the wavemakers and make it soft start, and it's controllable by timer!! This sounds great ey?

FYI...hydor works well with the ocean pulse but not Tunze...tried and it gives a loud noise everytime it initiates

  3. Saw them yesterday at LCK 201. Quite a few, range from $75 to $200 (6 - 20 polpys)thumbsup.gif

    Hi Bro,

Thanks for the update. The last time when i visited coral farm was 2 months ago when i beginning to setup my tank. I'm staying in Pasir Ris so have always been visiting the east side LFS.

Will drop by soon to take a look. Thanks again!

  4. It's been a while since i last update my thread.

Am glad that i have not experienced any bad encounters i.e algae outbreak, LS death etc since the time i start up the tank. Stocks has been filled up gradually...err..slightly faster then normal..keke.. and learning the water perimeters behaviour , organising schedules to dose supplements.

One thing i'm quite concerned is the PH. I've read the thread below about PH

    http://www.sgreefclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=89206&pid=922288&st=0&#entry922288

Dont wish to hijack his thread so asking right here about my condition.

All other readings are great but abit concerned of my PH reading which is between 7.8 to 8.2. The reading has been consistently like this after i hit my 2nd month. I did regular test every 4 days. Got abit lazy and decided to buy pinpoint monitor to better understand how the PH water perimeters realtime...btw its a fantastic product!

I've been trying to increase the PH hoping to reach the range of 8.0 to 8.4 but it seems to be tough. I'm dosing it with Kent Marine PH Buffers. But looks like there is no effect. Though im aware 7.8 is still an ok mark but i have already some collection of SPS and trying to hit its optimum of the range mentioned as recommended.

    Any advice appreciated! Thanks.

  5. Hi bro,

Delightings is having a Nano Tank set for sale. It comes with skimmer, lights and chiller, depending on the package you choose. please refer to link http://www.sgreefclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=88498 for more details.

    Cheers

    Hi Bro,

Thanks for the update. I've seen razali setup at iwarna; adopting the elos concept. I'm setting up for my bro and he likes my setup. I'm using JBJ and has a built in hood, those all in one types and he loves it. Even my chiller i put it in the cupboard so looks neat.

    so still scouting....
