    Just saw this post. Reading it send a chill down my spine. Someone could have lost 8.5k. Comparing that to our $44.....wow....

    On the other hand, I really pity the couple in the story. Hope he is not describing himself.

    I have heard from some connection that some months back just before the TDS bulk order started, he was in some $$$ problem and went asking and raking his brain to get some $$$, but little did i realise $44 also can fill his stomach :(

    there was some hint that he was jobless for a while and commitment was high.

    didn't expect this thread to come in again. Some time back I already know this one gone liao.

    Some bros pm me but I also dun know wat to reply. I give up liao.

    Honestly I am not TL with him anymore, just pity him that he has to resort to such means for a mere 1000+/- dollars.

    SG is so small, why is he going to hide his face?

    This is an extract of a conversation that me and my wife had last night.

    Mrs. mC: Dear, Would you get married again after I died?

    Mrs. mC: Why not? Don't you like being married?

    You mean he just need to say he is returning money, cannot report him to police liao? Like that I can also tell Citibank I am going to pay them back and then don't and they can't do anything to me.

    what happen is that at that time there are some expression of going to the police. So his response was only to tackle this area alone. if all correspondence are shown to the police, at most they will consult with him on the complain and suggest returning the $. Unless he did not pm about the refund, then its clear cut cheating.

    On the next level now, if going to the small claim court is diff story. cause the so call "charges' will be on the inability to return the $ within reasonable time, which in our case here, its reasonable enough.

    the police are only expected to perform on any evidence of cheating (penal code), where the small claim court are assist claims for your rightful money.

    when you owe bank $, they go to the court for thier claim.

    Only when the court has concluded that a you do not intend to pay, then breach of trust comes into play (penal code) and the police show thier face

    that time at the CCK community centre seminar. I came out during the break and also dun know anyone, then saw BH name tag so i tot find him to talk to but he like super PMS mood and face and jiagar one corner only.

    I also scare, so in the end mingle with Kaykay and others.
