    any way if u really want to interview a reefer, why dun u visit any LFS...

    i'm sure u will meet one there...or maybe plenty...just buy them some frozen food...cheers...

Just to share with you all, i research for my master project with NTU and UOM using marine sponges to as a bio filter to break down organic waste subst and examine the distingeration of the sponge cells and regeneration of its cells upon different chemicals waste esp copper compounds which are common with industrial wastes. Indeed, the are self regeneration upon chemical stress....

    and spent 5 years in marine keeping and hv been successful and this hobby is ur family life.....

  5. just to ply safe, get a chiller will be better. Or place a fan on top of your fan.. ;)

    i mean a fan on top of your tank. Normal house fan. i done that before. after which i place it on top of my sump. so that i can seal my table fan. and it works. On for 24 hours. Temperature maintain 28 degree. And my coral are happy. :D

    Those are history. I've gave up these hobby 2 years ago. But after joining this site and saw every body tank, i think i'll start again...from scratch. :blink:
