  1. The fine partical will float and will go back to your main tank. How big is your tub? Introducing and removing phosphaste and silicate at one go is not advisable as it may stress your tank inhabitants.

If you decide not to use an fr you should at least use a bag for your rowa.

  2. 1. How can i bring my ammonia down or my tank is still at the cycling stage?

It is cycling period is massive die off. So no point trying to reduce your ammonia level as decomposing matter contributes ammonia.

    2. Do i have to add supplements at this stage where i believe my tank is still cycling..

After cycling then your boost your water level.

    3. I know brining down nitrit is important, but how do i go about doing it?

Loads of carbon or get a denitrator.

    4. Do i need to run my skimmer now?

Up to each individual. For me I don't. This is because I also want every pest like bristle/bobit worms that is living my liverocks to die also. I switch it on after cycling.

Hope this helps. Happy reefing. :peace:

  3. It a tank with good size. I would not worry about the reading too much. Cycling your tank means die off period during this time any living organism will start to die off in your tank. Your ammonia reading should shoot up sky high if not then something is wrong with your test kit. Unless you are using cured live rocks whereby cycling period can be shorten but not recommended.

Anyway hope other can also contribute to this info for our fellow reefer.

    Regards.

  4. Leading salt brands like marine enviroment, tropic marin, coral life etc have their own benefit and provide almost the same element to suite a marine live stocks.

As for myself have always used tropic marin pro reef salt and are quite satisfied with the results so far.

  5. So serious! Beat somebody up nowadays and their parents will look for you? With lawyers and threaten to be charged in court? What happened to the good old days where you settle things outside?

The teens nowadays are weak.

Man those were the days. B) One on one lose today come and settle again the next day.

  6. Damsels will loose it bright colourations when it start to grow to adult hood. But is the easiest marine fish to keep and also the hardiest. But beware once you intro new specimens of damsel, the old bird wil whack the new ones silly and even to its death.

  7. Those "bitches" in the clip file so young got son meh?

Anyway my message is not replying to you but to flying carpet just to make sure you know i am not replying to you.

  9. It makes my blood boils when I see that video so much that I can't bear to watch tiil the end. How could they do this kind of things and that poor girl just sit there and absorb all the kicks and punches. What goes around comes around. I hope that they will get their retribution.
